Game Back At Aftermath
Saturday afternoon, rapper Game officially announced his return to Aftermath Records. The announcement, made via the Compton star rapper’s Twitter page (@IHateGame), comes after pictures and statements already confirming Game’s musical reunion with one of his early mentors, Dr. Dre.
Claiming, “It’s funny how things come full circle. R.E.D.” Game linked to a photograph of him wearing four Aftermath medallions on chain necklaces. R.E.D. is the title of Game’s spring album, which may now carry the Aftermath logo.
Having released his multi-platinum debut, The Documentary on G-Unit/Aftermath/Interscope in 2005, the Black Wall Street founder would later release his two subsequent releases 2006′s The Doctor’s Advocate and 2008′s L.A.X. on Geffen Records. Geffen, a sister-label to Interscope in the IGA (Interscope-Geffen-A&M) family. Many believed these actions were due to tension between Game and 50 Cent, Dr. Dre and even Interscope head Jimmy Iovine.
By returning to Aftermath, Game joins Eminem, 50 Cent, as well as two newer artists Slim Da Mobster and this week’s DXnext artist, Hayes. Throughout his career, Game has worked with Aftermath producers including DJ Khalil, Hi-Tek and of course, Dre
i know this is a little old but what came outta this is there any new news or any one that has confirm or deny this ?

nope, only a mixtape logo
-
No think he said in a interview that he was back on interscope only.
-
You won't be seeing an Aftermath logo on the back of R.E.D.
-
Y not^ lol...spring release?
-
what difference does it make
-
I wish Aftermath were really a record label...I like Game but not sure anyone wants to deal with dude on a business level everyday. Certainly not Dre.

Especially not Dre. Nigga if I was Dre, I'd stand back and take a look at this Nigga. He named dropped me in all of his songs basically, rode my nutz harder then my wife, and even made a "Sad" Track talking about the days we used 2 hang out. Now if I was Dre, I'd stay away from the nigga, cause obviously this guy's gone Homo.
lol anyways, No way it's gonna be on Aftermath. Chances are it's gonna be BWS/Interscope and (if any) Aftermath slips in it's probably gonna be via Artist or productions (Dre or otherwise). More then likely it won't have any though.

It won't be BWS, BWS isn't a record label and doesn't even have a distribution deal or anything like that. It'll have a Interscope logo on the back thats it

They could drop him :P
How many albums does he have left on the Interscope deal anyway? 1 greatest hits like 50?
-
Why are you all shittin on Game so hard?
-
One label that will be on there for sure is G-unit, either in invisible ink or watermark.
Game is on G-unit still, Aftermath as well. His contract is with both labels, both Dre & 50 gets paid off this album so it’s on Aftermath either way. This should be his last on both labels.
-
Wasnt the gunit deal seperate meanin he was signed 2 gunit 4 all 5 albums? When did game sign that 5 album deal? And if he was or has been on the math then y would he himself say hes back on the math? lol

We can speculate all we want, but no one is right - it's not like we have Games contract leaked on the web.
