...If they had used the songs they left off.I removed the weakest tracks - Firm Allstars, Hardcore, Fuck Somebody Else (a decent Dre beat but that's about it, it had no place on a Firm album) and put the leftovers in this order, after Throw Your Guns
Fist Full Of Dollaz - not a bad track at all, Dre and Nature trading verses over another mafioso-type Dre production
La Familia (not the Nature version but the Cormega one.The Nature one makes more sense but Cormega deserved a spot on that album since he was an original Firm member)
Time - Nas, A.Z., Nature - this is my personal favorite from the leftovers, all of them spit some gems and a mellow Dre beat
Creep - A.Z. - this is just a 1 minute song, much like the Wizard one, A.Z. spitting, nice Dre backdrop (J-Love tags)
Sosa VS. The State - A.Z., Nature, Nas - nothing really special, kind of like Time but not as good, but still should've been included. (Doo Wop tags)
Progress - Nas, Nature, Foxy Brown, Dr. Dre - same as Everyday Thing from the Dre bootlegs but with Foxy
Desperados (Version with Nas verse instead of Canibus) - this is included as a bonus track, good Nas verse but the Canibus one is better
Firm Biz (Remix) - much better than the original version IMO with a bonus Half-A-Mil verse and some Mary J. Blige singing
4 In The Morning (5 Minutes To Flush Original) - same lyrics, but a different, dramatic Dre beat and chorus is sung by R.C.

There you go, a much more enjoyable album.

Only thing I disagree w/ this is Hardcore, loved that shit, beat was knockin', but I can see how it's not everybody's flavor.
I wonder if there are any other leftovers from these sessions we haven't heard yet... could just imagine Dre on that Italian flavor with his beats... 8)

can u plz up these songs plz?
-
I think the Firm album was fine as it was. According to Cormega, he was not featured because he didn't want to sign a production deal he didn't feel was good business so they weren't gonna get any songs there. And "Time" was a Dr. Dre production? Is the same song that's featured on that two-disc "Decade" compilation?

u forgot 2 put everyday thing feat. nas, nature, and dr dre....that waz a good leftover that shouldve been on the album wit a great relax dre beat

The album had a very r&bish feel to it. Almost sounded half assed at times because you can't tell me after hearing Affirmative Action you would not think a follow up album from them would be nothing short of classic. But it wasn't, and once Mega was not going to be on the album, forget it. No offense to Nature though. Decent album but easily one of the most overhyped albums ever IMO for the product you actually got on it.

Agree with D-Nice.With that said, you can fully understand why those songs were left off, they have quite a darker feel than most of the album
And as I said Everyday Thing=Progress
I'll up the joints as soon as I can
-
Damn, I forgot about Fist Full Of Dollaz & 4 In The Mornin' (5 Minutes To Flush OG).I'll see where exactly to put them with the other leftovers and edit the first post with a download link
also, I forgot that Sam Sneed raps Dre's verse from Progress on Everyday Thing, with the last couple of bars being slightly different
And yeah, I might have been slightly harsh on Hardcore, it's not that bad compared to Firm All Stars and Fuck Somebody Else

Damn so im not the only one not feelin the firm album way it was released..str8 up tho 5 minutes 2 flush, desperados are mad dope but rest of album aint all that...gotta check the leftovers tho
