Last week at Rock The Bells 2010 in San Francisco I had the opportunity to be witness of most of Hip-Hop's timeless, classic moments. I'm talking about standing on stage with Snoop Dogg and the entire cast of the "Doggystyle" (minus Nate Dogg of course, and Mr. Malik), as they performed Snoop's classic debut album in its entirety.
Snoop Dogg, Daz, Kurupt, Warren G, RBX, Soopafly, The Lady Of Rage were all on stage doing their thing and I had the opportunity to capture some of it on video.
Today we are dropping "Ain't No Fun" live, this is dedicated to OG Nate Dogg, get well soon brother, you're in all our prayers! Watch the crowd sing his part word for word, check it out below:
Snoop Dogg & The Doggystyle Crew - Ain't No Fun (Live @ Rock The Bells 2010) (Video) (http://www.dubcnn.com/media/video/snoopdogg-aintnofunlive)
After the show, dubcnn had the chance to link up with Tha Doggfather to chop it up, check out an exclusive drop he did for the site below:

Enjoy and expect for Rock The Bells videos soon.

Props for the drop Nima :)
Are Dubcc going to make another West Coast festival in Europe like the one from last year?
-
Dope! my favourite snoop song!
-
So how was the show, mostly the snoop and wu tang performances? I was supposed to go but had to sell my tickets. I'm pretty bummed.
-
Wu-Tang was cool it was a good moment but the sound was kinda all over the place cause it was 9 people on stage all yellin into the mic lol.
Snoop was fuckin CLASSIC man. He was the only one who religiously did the whole album + he did stranded on death row, g thang, deep cover, next episode, drop it like its hot and ended with i wanna rock. but he did every song on doggystyle even did g'z up hoez down and he had recorded videos to the skits and shit.
-
i remember young Nima back in 03... lol nice video my man! props
-
Yeah lol thats what Snoop was sayin like man u was a lil baby when u first started off and shit haha.
-
damn man, I really wish I could have gone. That is awesome that they did stranded on death row!
Once again I ask the question: If snoop claims that his new albums are so great, etc, etc, then why does he choose to do the entire Doggystyle album? And to the people on this forum: Looks like Snoop Dogg must be living in the past too huh? Along w/ Wu tang. Man these guys really need to move on. Its not the 90's anymore. They really need to take a page out of Soulja Boy's book. End sarcasm.
-
must be a Rock The Bells Idea... because the RTB festival is usually for hardcore hiphop fans, dont think u<ll see soljah boy in there
-
Fuck. I would so love to experience the whole doggystyle album live.. Shiiiit..
and a big FUCK YOU to everybody who got the chance ;D lol
-
Nima, did you ask Snoop about his next album & single?
-
I went to Rock The Bells last night in New York and it was amazing. It was my first time seeing Snoop perform live. The videos for the skits were pretty cool. Dr. Dre even filmed the Domino skit, but it was a lot different obviously. You hear "Domino mothafucka!" then Dre says something like "whats up rock the bells, hey snoop play an old school song". Snoop then performed Deep Cover and Nuthin But a G Thang. He also did Bitch Please and The Next Episode, but they didn't do Stranded On Death Row. Like Nima said, Snoop was pretty much the only artist that performed their album in its entirety, even Gz Up Hoez Down!

that was a dope vid
-
Man man man, i would’ve love to be there. WOW, my favorite rap album of all time performed live. Just WOW.
You know what though, I think the feeling would’ve been even more phenomenal if Dre was there. I mean he produced the the album and he was on a few adlbs, lol,yet it’s great enough with all the original inmates there.
@jones5099, just saw u mentioned Dre participated thrua video. Thats whats up at least. Making that moment would’ve been mesmerizing for me being a part of that era and enjoy that album everyday after it’s release. I still bump that album and it feels like it’s not old at all.

Great work Nima!
-
Props Nima, that's a classic video. Was good to see the crowd supportin Nate Dogg on the first verse! And lol @Kurupt fooling at the camera!
-
Would be awesome if they release a dvd of the concert.
