When I forget who I am
An evil resistance penetrates my mind
like I cloud that covers up the sun
I try to convince myself I like the rain
and don't need the light, right?
but falsehood falls at the sight of you
Sound of your voice is the truth
Makes me wake up to morning
To see a new day
Cause even when we pray
words can lose their meaning
It's when we are shown something
real that's when we can keep believing
I read that unrequited love can cause anxiety
But just maybe that's cause it's not the real thing
Cause the truly selfless can never be struck
So for us suffering from distance never draws blood
I saw the vision when I was within prisons of my past
Gave me energy that lasts as I walk down this path
You'll be in my arms at last just like before
Don't doubt that cause everyday I'm remembering you more
