Would Lil' Wayne still get the massive amounts of love if he was white?

Part of me feels like if a white guy came in & rapped about pure swag with a lazy-ish flow & used metaphors & wordplay like Wayne, it's not that he "wouldn't get as much love", I think he would get straight up hated on; maybe even get accused of being one of the worst rappers.

I know he gets his fair share of hate, but lets be honest, he has one of, if not the biggest, following in Hip Hop.

Whatcha think?

Drake is mixed race. And honestly, this is such a random question. BUT, I think he would attract more fans than he has now, I mean IF he was white you could think of him as the new Eminem.

I guarentee you more people don't know he's white than do lol, but he doesn't fit the physical look I'm talking about anyway.

I was just thinking about it, Wayne says some shit that's like border line corny, but his whole "I got so much swag, I can say anything" thing he has, he can get away with it.

Where I see a white guy saying "Get on my level. You can't get on my level. You will need a space shuttle or a ladder that's forever" & people calling him trash with some corny ass punchlines.

The rapper in question would have to start off with some absolutely amazing lyrics and album to then pull a Lil Wayne, he wouldn't be able to do it right off the bat.
