The title of the album will be "Doggystyle part 2 - The doggymentury
It will feature a majority of production from Swizz Beats, but unknown to most, it will also feature a remake of Gin & Juice (still drinkin') produced by Swizz Beats. He also gave Snoop a 'so called' hard beat for a track that will surpass "serial killer". Speaking to one of Snoops closest, This album has apparently had a lot of thought, consideration and sentiment for the past legacy, and that it will not disappoint.
I am still personally waiting for the release myself though, to see it it will deliver

You should've locked this topic as soon as u made it. Now it's going to turn out 2 be nothing but endless ranting by tha same people, such a bore; completely uninteresting, stupid, childish, and worthless. We'll just have 2 c how it turns out (a month after it's released).

Snoop Dogg Says Katy Perry Will Appear On His Next Album
The 'California Gurls' pair will reunite for the upcoming Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary.
By Jayson Rodriguez
Snoop Dogg is in a "let's do it again" type of mood.
The rapper announced plans to work with Katy Perry again after the pair's "California Gurls" collaboration shot to the top of the iTunes singles chart this week. (Perry's album, Teenage Dream, also hit #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week.)
"We're trying to get together and do something on my new album ... so [I'm] definitely in contact with her," Snoop told OK! magazine about Perry. "She's a sweet girl and I had fun making the record with her. Like I said, I'm looking forward to her being on my record as well."
The album in question is Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary.
Snoop announced he's revisiting his classic debut album in a BubbleTweet video message sent over Swizz Beatz's Twitter account.
Snoop and Swizz were in a studio session and revealed they had recorded upwards of 18 new tracks together.
"Man, this is big Snoop Dogg coming to you live from the studio somewhere," Snoop said in the clip. "With Swizzle, and he just laced my boots up for my new record. He gave me some gangster sh--, some Crip sh--, some R&B sh--, some hip-hop sh--, some hard sh--, some mean sh--."
The Los Angeles lyricist then revealed the name of his next album before the clip cut off.
Snoop's Doggystyle was released in November 1993. The collection was produced by Dr. Dre and, along with Dre's The Chronic, helped solidify the West Coast's reign atop the hip-hop game. It still remains one of the best-selling debuts in hip-hop history.

If J. Beiber ain't on it, it will ruin the legacy of the original Doggystyle.

yeah that is a pretty awesome track^^
Katy pery being on there prolly wont be so bad like ppl think, i mean it wont(surely) have a girly beat and be a teenie bopper/cute song like Katys song so its possible it may not be so bad..
-
Actually i would be surprised if it waz anything othr than a Pop Record, that would be a good surprise btw. Katy`s not a bad singer at all, but tha dellimma iz is wat is Snoop goin 2 use her 4. Tbh i really dnt even care at this i just say let Snoop do Snoop, as long as he dont come with that Currensy record flow or that All I Do Is Win garbage flow im sure ill b ok.
-
Oh yeah, and no more records like ``Gangsta Luv``. That shit wuz da ooowwee and not n tha goodway.
-
WTF :o
-
I love whole records produced by Swizz Beatz, they're always really good.
-
To continue to my original post, people are missing the fact that he has already done a Gin & Juice part.2 way back in like 98, all because this has extra words in brackets? & now a remake of what's my name? There's also a part 2 to that as well on Tha Last Meal
It seems that Snoop has become so idiotic over the years, and smoked too much that he's beginning to forget that he's already remade songs he plans to re-make on this album

lemme jump in here real quik, n defend the old dog. thing is this, concept-albums is the right thing to do nowadays (just like they did back in the early 90's, it's coming back right now) - one single producer that handles the music, hence givin it a specific feeling... so the fact, that you picks one single producer to do the whole album, is the right choice for your musc for once - instead of giving the listeners schizofrenia-madness wit one million producers every friggin album. that's just boring, played-out and conventional..
now, the fact dat he picked Swizz is debatable to alot of people, for some weird reason. thing is this, he melts well wit the old Ruff Ryder, on a musical level. he really does. check out their previous collaborations. rather Swizz, than Kanye or Timbaland.. Swizz can provide the right musical-platforms for Snoop. that's my impression - let's see how it turns out.. i personally would've prefered Pharrell & Chad Hugo (xcept Dre - Neptunes are the best producers to handle Snoop)..
dont friggin start wit the Dre-thing. he already reached out to grandpa, but grandpa only produce for new-talent and inhouse-Aftermath/Shady artists. Dre's not interested in working wit 40-year old o.g.'s from the West Coast - and he will NEVER help 'em out either.. he's too rich and succesful for stuff like that
and don't trip over that "Doggystyle 2"-title.. it's just a title, that's made for generating attention
