A version of the "Nothin' But A 'G' Thang Intro"
if you make mixtapes u can use this. it would be cool if Swizz chopped up the beat on this one and Snoop had that flow on it. 20Leven it up.

I don't think so.... blips and bleeps like that weren't around in the 90s rap beats

the audio was taken off a performance Dre and Snoop did for I believe the Soul Train Music awards back in the day. I believe they performed nuthing but a g thang, and then Whats my name after. There used to be a video clip of it online, but after hearing it, I went to try to find it, but its either not available or hard to find.
I have this performance somewhere on vhs somewhere.
It was sometime around 94 when snoop was the hottest thing going. The perfomance was dope, this intro music came on while Snoop & dre came on stage in a low rider, similar to how they did on the Up in Smoke tour. I specifically remember this performance, because it was the first time I had seen anyone doing the crip walk onstage.

Awesome. Thanks for those memories, be great if you do have the tape. I looked a while back for the soultrain shows hoping a non rap fan might've taped them anyway.:)
