just did a quick search and didnt really find any topics discussing 9th wonders remix album of nas's gods son

i just recently found this album and really glad i did, sounds just like another lost tapes.

just goes to show that nas's problems after illmatic weren't so much his lyrics but his choice of beats that makes his albums.

9th wonders remix of god's son makes it sounds like a classic nas LP, where as the original had some bumper beats with a few horrible ones.

whats everyones thoughts on this? and if you havent already check this out aswell as 9th wonders black is back remix album of jay z's the black album.

You are 100% right imo. Just shows yoiu how 9th goes well with NY rappers. Solid solid album, especially like the thugz mansion remix  8)

yeah, you dont ever hear much on this record.. its been a while since ive listen to it, but i remember it always sounded very smooth.. i think "made you look" remix was my favourite from it.

That was like the american gangster cd by jay. Some good beats but i have to say the rest of the production was fucking horrible.

But then a beatmaker by the name of Remot remixed the whole album and made that shit classic imo
