Title: NFL week 3
Post by: OG Hack Wilson on September 23, 2010, 07:32:39 PM
I'm going to pick the 5 biggest games:

Jets > Miami   (fuck the dolphins)

Texans > Cowboys (Dallas is the pick since they are desperate....but I say Foster runs over them for 100+

Falcons > Saints   (Drew Brees will still run the offense w/o Bush, but I have a feeling ATL is going to be pumped up for this one and will not disapoint)

Steelers > Buccs  (battle of the 2-0's ....Steelers somehow win on the road with Charlie Batch)

Packers > Bears

^I don't know about winning, but the Falcons will put up a strong fight. I predicted Matt Ryan to win MVP lol; my sleeper MVP lol.

Cowboys will get a win; this is basically a must win for them.

& I agree with the rest.

He's playing this week. But I don't know if he'll be at 100%.

if the cowboys win against the texans then i think the cowboys are still a playoff caliber team and proves the first two games were just stupid mistakes that cost us the W

if we lose then we suck this year...

The Cowboys could still take that division, easy. They are the best overall team in the NFC East.

But they have a tough ass schedule. Titans, Cards, Lions & Jags are like the only breaks in their remaining schedule. Every other game can go either way.

Cowboys can't afford 0-3. And Texans are classic choke artists, definitely not a 3-0 team. I'd be shocked but convinced if Houston wins this game.

It's the toughest division in Football, but the Cowboys are the best team in it, regardless of the current record.

Plus, everyone is 1-1. If they all lose this week & the Boys win, everybody has the same record.

Especially in the NFC East. That place is wide open. I honestly cannot predict a clear winner in any division right now. If the Colts had beaten the Texans I would have said Indy wins the south. Same if the Pats had beaten the Jets.

Luckily for the Giants our gameplan starts and ends with "get it to CJ". Such a bad/predictable offense. Defense holding the Giants to 0 points. Luckily we have one of the better defenses in the league. We have good field position, let's get a TD and make this a two possession game.
Title: Re: NFL week 3
Post by: Lunatic on September 26, 2010, 10:43:37 AM
... And that's the offensive possession we needed! 10-0 Titans.

Damn, great under 2min drive executed by E. Manning. 10-10! We got a ball game.

But them refs missed TWO holds on that Jacobs TD.. AND that Manning sack shouldn't have been called down, that was a fumble!  :-\

Outplay them badly, give up one TD, left with 30+ seconds and 3 timeouts, and you forfeit the half with a knee. It's sickening how bad Fisher has no faith in our offense. Ugh!

Thank you Ahmad Bradshaw for the 2 free points and the ball back! AND it ended a huge throw and catch

Look what happens when you let Vince throw the ball! 4/4 on that drive, all completions of 10+ yards to receivers. What a TD throw and catch! Britt!

19-10 baby

Yes! Redzone fumble Bradshaw.

This game is still close, but all signs point to a Titans win. Giants with 4 turnovers, 2 in the red zone and a safety as well. Titans with no turnovers. This HAS to be a win  8)

Your defense isn't sucking it all. You've bottled up CJ all day and kept our passing game to our typical 10 yard catches.

Your offense is another story. Two Eli Manning INT's (one in the red zone), a Bradshaw fumble in the red zone, and a stupid chop block by Bradshaw in your end zone that gave us a safety (and negated a 40 yard pass may I add).

We've had great field position all day thanks to our defense and special teams.

Plus Tynes has missed two FG's (granted one was 50+). The second was a 44 yard miss, and it should have been a 39 yard attempt but a delay of game pushed it back to 44.

shot yourself in the foot all day.

But our D has been boss.

It's a smoke show baby.

and just one TD (in the two minute drill at the end of the first half).

Titans dominating performance.

And he'll end up like one of those animals he put down after the next 6 game stretch is over. I predict 5 losses, at least.

i hate the eagles but vick is still my nigga. and the rivalry between them and dallas should be intense later in the season, and im glad to see farve and the vikings take the w. as far as the coweboys thats exactly what we needed was a good win like that even the houstons passing d sucks if we didnt win convincingly i would of lost all hope for playoffs

wow, i get on this vick banwagon and stop bitching about the inneroffive politics of the assholes that are the eagles, he looks fucking good passing the ball, acurate, showing me that he can do more than just run.. he keeps getting hit like this he best be careful
um shallow, yea that 2nd half of the season is hard as shit but i still think they can win 9-10 games on the season, which may be enough to make the playoffs

washington sucks, and they lost and so do the giants, but damn i really wanted to see houston beat dallas, but dallas showing that they wont go down just that easy.

I'm just holding back judgement for now. So far he's only really done it against two defenses notorious for making QBs look like studs. Thankfully for him he doesn't have NYJ, Pit, or Baltimore this season because they'd eat him up. A couple more weeks and I'll add Crennel's KC D to that list too.

Hoping the kicker would miss an FG from the 5 yard line was stupid. It's a tie game with a minute to go. You let them score and you put faith in the offense. If you could have stopped the clock with 30 seconds or enough time to run even two plays then yeah you should play for the FG. But when the team can run it down to 8 seconds and leave you with only enough time to run a kick return you have to let them score.
