• Because gangsta rap doesn't sell anymore, and you gave an example of gangsta rap
• Because Dre doesn't produce for outside artists anymore, Snoop included
• Because Tray Deee is incarcerated
• Because Nate had multiple strokes and can't make music anymore
• Because Snoop has to protect his new-found wholesome image

There is still good music outside of gangsta rap like the Liks to be had on the west. But like it has always been, it is difficult for artists like that and others to get the support needed to maintain.
