What are your opinions on that no tolerance bullshit?
The NBA, they give you a technical foul if you basically show emotion to a call made or if you come slightly close to taunting the opposing team.
The NFL, you're not allowed to celebrate without them throwing a flag at you.
Personally, I think that's all bullshit. You play a game that you're being paid millions to play; you're going to get emotional over things; which is only going to lead to taunting pending on your personality.
Not to mention, the fans love taunting & emotion being showed. I think they should just allow the players to do whatever & if a major line is crossed; pushing, shoving, punches, then you can start handing out punishment.
But the current rules are fucking bullshit, in my opinion.

Of course that's BS ... a NBA game is supposed to be a show ,a high energy game ... I think (hope) the refs will "give up" on this rule during the course of the season though ... all is going to take is a Lebron or a Kobe to be thrown out of a game for two of these stupid techs ...
The next rule change will be worst id it's put in place
the NBA thinks about allowing players to clean up the rim and forget about the "off the cylinder" rule ( as allowed in FIBA Ball)
.... with the athleticism the NBA players have , lots of games will finish in the 75-80 pts range :-X

David Stern has always been a piece of shit. The guy has rigged playoff series, constantly fines players for speaking out, and will shoot down anyone that doesn't agree with him. Due to these factors I hated the guy EVEN BEFORE he let that hick from OKC steal my team and shit on my city.

Z's got 2 technicals on the season already and he signed for the veteran's minimum. It wouldn't be a shock for the league to keep these douchey rules in place to make up for the huge losses in revenue these past seasons due to the struggling economy. People aren't trying to see the Bobcats play the Raptors.

That nba rule shoulda been enforced in the mid 90's because of the Bricks. They were the refs favorite team & would get away with murder & when the refs finally decide to call a foul on them, 90+% of the time Brick players would be constantly crying :'( :'( :'( to the refs & it would be an obvious call too.
