I'm diggin' 'I'm Just Doin' Me (Ft. Bobbie)', that's a dope track but the rest is just average.

My favorite is 'For my hometown' real solid mix tape. Better then any other Latin Rapper in the west.

i gave the mixtape a good listen this past weekend and i have to say that i really like what rome is trying to do, its innovative and different, very relate-able and it feels like some throwback music, a quite enjoyable album, very well produced and put together....now, with that being said, i think he still has a ways to go lyrically....while i do like the topics he's touching on, i feel like some of the verses on this album are....lazy and redundant. it begins to feel like every verse sounds the same, like if you've heard one verse from rome you've heard them all almost. i mean he mentions grinding, henny and some type of vodka on every song, which is fine, but gets old. and some of the punchlines/metaphors on this album are very, very corny and elementary. i understand that in the day and age of rappers like drake and lil Wayne that this is whats 'hot', but it can be a little much....but the crazy thing is, he can go from one end of the spectrum to the other...one song will be kinda weak lyrically, and then the next will be ill, its crazy....but the production and direction of this album are excellent, he has a great team around him overseeing his growth as an artist, i see alot of potential here...all in all, a good mixtape with alot of replay value, cheers....

sums up my thoughts to a T. What I want to know is where the fuck is Omar Cruz? Not to get too far off topic.

i've bumped into him a couple times, once at big wangs in north hollywood, and the homies see him all the time at circle bar in santa monica...he's definitely not on interscope anymore that's for sure, other than that he never says much about what he's working on so i couldnt tell you....i know he did this song recently with annimeans and g malone:

and this solo joint a couple months back:
