That East-West record Daz talks about ultimately became Got My Mind Made Up.  Didn't know Daz had a daughter -- he never talks about her   Eargasms must have fallen apart shortly after this.  In fact, this was recorded quite near the end of the golden age for Death Row.  Things quickly disintegrated behind the scenes.  Still, they had so much talent back then, and they were like a family.  Really miss those days.  Seemed as if every single record they made was golden.

Too bad we never got to hear most of what Sam Sneed recorded during that Golden Age! Hopefully he will release that shit eventually lol.

but I disagree that Death Row had a concrete golden age. Keep in mind that Dr. Dre pretty much quit after Doggystyle, and was looking to leave DR in early 94. Sneed ghost produced Natural Born Killaz and Keep Their Heads Ringin and U Betta Recognize for him. A lot of new talent entered the picture in 94/95 to make up for Dre's dwindilling output. Though supposedly Dre was co-producing some stuff with Sneed, including those songs I mentioned, so I guess Dre basically quit after Doggystyle and did some songs with Sneed before he left for real.

With that being said, RBX left in 95ish, but then 2Pac and his team entered the fold in 95... U had talent coming in and out of the door continuously.

IMO, the period from Murder Was the Case through Dogg Food was when the best music was made at DR (production was, at least). Dre mixed both those albums, but who knows just how many producers and musicians were involved in the production. I don't trust the credits, lol.

For real though, it would be really nice to hear what was recorded in that 94-95 period. The leaked LBC Crew and Sam Sneed tracks had incredible production. The Danny Boy shit was really good. Hopefully whoever has the rest will leak it lol.

I heard somewhere that Dre was actually the in-house producer from 91-93, as in he was producing for alllll of the artists on the label during that period. Unfortunately, again, most of that shit is still unheard... honestly if someone other than WA has this shit, they should just leak it...

do you even know what ghost producing means?
Sam Sneed didn't ghost produce those tracks, as he is listed in the credits.
