Stone: Double Bastard Ale
(http://beerblotter.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/stone-double-bastard.jpg)
This is a November limited release beer, so if you want to check it out now it's the time before they sell out. It's similar to the Arrogant Bastard Ale from the same company, but a lot smoother. It's full of strong flavor, so if you're barely moving away from strictly lagers I wouldn't recommend this type for you right away.
Dogfish Head: 90 Minute IPA
(http://www.frothyhead.com/var/plain_site/storage/images/beer/united-states/dogfish-head-craft-brewery/90-minute-ipa/1172-1-eng-US/90-Minute-IPA_beer_medium.jpg)
If you've ever had an IPA before, you know these are some very bitter beers. This isn't the case with the 90 minute IPA with Dogfish(they have 60 min and 120 min. versions). You can smell lots of fruity flavors, and the taste has some fruit aspect to it but it's not sweet. Really damn good!
Cucapa Chupacabra Pale Ale

This is pretty much the same style as the popular Bass Pale Ale, so if you're into that type of beer then if you can find this pick this one up. One of the interesting things about this beer is that it's actually brewed in Mexico. Pretty rare for Mexico to have a craft brew, so this is a pleasant surprise.
