most those producers been quiet lately...but ima have to go with Fred Wreck...its almost time for Quik and Dre to move over...Cat, Roll, Ski, Meech Wells...they dont got heat like Fred Wreck...and scott storch he aint west coast...Bosko is up there tho...
-
i don't think dre of the last year is gonna be the same dre of 2003. i think he's been savin his dopest shit for rakim, detox, hopefully cube, and so far 50. i have a feeling that a large percent of beats we've heard from him in the last year or so have been leftovers. i think Fred def brings west coast sound, and has the most potential to really drop some bombs. space boogie was a let down lyrically, but fred's production was damn good. it had a definite dre feel to it, but he made it his own. i'd say i'm most excited about him

Oh no im gonna upset all the Dr Dre followers now!!! ::)
-
Easy one, Quik no doubt. But I like almost everything Battlecat has done as well...
-
Where the hell is Warren Griffen and Daz Dillinger
-
I voted for DJ Quik. Dre is tight too, but why isn't Damizza in the poll???
-
I got's to go with Fred Wreck. The man hasn't produced much this year but everything he released was fire:
Raised on the side
Paper'd Up
Boss Playa
Long beach to Brick City
All these beats can go toe to toe with some of the best beats this year.
