i was listenin to doggystyle, an kurupt murdered snoop on his own ish. snoop was never half the mc kurupt was, its a shame snoop got all the shine tho he doesnt have shit on kurupt
-
hmmm...interesting view...Kurupt was always a better MC lyric-wise, but Snoop had the better voice/flow...Kurupt is whack as fuck nowadays though...PeACe
-
i think kurupt had jus as good flow as snoop did, lets see snoop rip a track like kurupt did on stranded on death row. an voice, i dunno they both had dope voices nothing annoyin like eazy-e
-
It might be an arguable point, but I personally think Snoop's flow destroys Kurupt's, but lyric-wise, I couldn't tell you. Offf the top of my head, I'd say Snoop was also better at that, but I'd have to listen some more 92-96 Kurupt tracks.
If we're discussing the present, don't even bother putting Kurupt on Snoop's level.
With sad lines like: "these ni@@as bitches, ni@@as is worse than bitches, I'm looking at this bitch ni@@a, like bitch ni@@a, bitch please" (from his track "My")... well, all I could think of Kurupt is, and I quote: "I'm looking at this bitch ni@@a, like bitch ni@@a, bitch please".
Racial slur not intended, of course ;)

eazy had one of the best voices ever...and his flow was on point...if he wouldve wrote his own lyrics he wouldve been a real tight rapper

word, and tom i think u way off man, snoop ran that album, that was his moment and he didnt disappoint
-
dont disrespect eazy-e - his had a mad voice and i never heard a track i didnt like from him.
as for kurupt and snoop - snoop had the better flow, kurupt had the better lyrics during the 93-96 period
-
but lyric-wise, I couldn't tell you. Offf the top of my head, I'd say Snoop was also better at that,
rigggggght, snoop never has an never will ever EVER touch kurupt lyrically from 92-96. lets see snoop come up with something like ny ny an than we could talk. an 2 any1 that says that snoop had better flow. ya'll act like kurupt had wack flow or some shit. granted snoop had better flow proberly the best in the game at the time but kurupt had sick ass flow as well proberly in the top 5. an kurupt murderded snoop on his own shit, go listen to for my niggaz an bitches an doogy dogg world. the only track snoop an kurupt came off even was aint no fun. an how am i disrespecting eazy-e. he had a very annoying voice an i can not listen to a whole album of him all the way through
-
I agree 100%. Kurupt was untouchable in those dayz. If Dre would have put his time and energy in kurupt like he did snoop, kurupt would be tha boss right now. lol. mind you, I'm not even any where close to saying Snoop was a bad rapper back in those dayz. He had maaaaaaaaaaad skill. But I just think Kurupt was over looked and was way bettter. you just look at these unreleased free styles with snoop and kurupt on the same track and Kurupt KILLZZZ that fool.
But sadly Kurupt has just stoped trying completly now adayz. :-\
and snoop has fallin off too, but not as hard as kurupt.
and that leaves Daz as the current King Of Tha Dogg Pound. that guy just does what he does so well. ;D
-
i love both of them....and many of you dont like tat "bitch nigga bitch ass" style rymes that kurupt be spitting but shit i think some of it sounds tight as fuck....just look at Xxplosive!.....he ripped that shit....i think it was just his flow and vocal direction....although he didnt say much he ripped it...and snoop ripped doggystyle no doubt....that was his album his masterpiece.
-
yeah true. In some cases that "bitch shit" is really tight. like Exxxplosive and Your Girlfriend. but too much of it sounds wack. damn, just think about the lyrics and flow kurupt had on traks like Fuk Wit My Crew, absolute classic shit. I miss that old kurupt.
-
the whole album was sick, and kurupt's part on 'it ain't no fun" is classic...........but snoop owned that album his vioce and flow were incredable all throughout, kurupt busts some great lines in it, and has a faster rap style just comin at you, but snoop ownes the cd with lyrics/vioce/charisma, could you imagine kurupt droppin "lodi dodi" or "murder was the case" at the time. i never get tired of hearing snoop on this cd every song he sounds good on, kurupt does very well but i couldn't see him being the main artist on this record and me liking it as much
-
man i jus gotta say snoops da king man watever yall say its simple flow wise snoop has paid the cost to b tha boss ;D
-

Man "Gz and Hustlaz" Snoop fuckin RIPS that track from front to back... 3 fuckin verses and there all heat, and he comes off hella aggresive on them too...
-
kurupt was always better than snoop.
only redman and nas were fuckin with kurupt from 92-96.
-
everyone has there own unique skills, Kurupt might of had the better flow and delivery but snoops voice sounds good on any type of beat.
They are both amazing at what they do IMO
-
I'm a big Kurupt fan and I agree not too many were touching his flow, lyrics, delivery from 92-96...But Snoop was even better...
