Kendrick Lamar Catches Dr. Dre's Ear; Drops New Track - By : Rud - November 21, 2010

History repeating itself? Lets hope so! Years ago Dubcnn broke Bishop Lamont online to the world and thanks to his grind and persistance Bishop caught the ear of Dr. Dre and he told the world of his interest on Big Boy's Neighborhood on Power 106 and the rest is history!
This week, when he premiered Kush featuring Snoop Dogg & Akon on the show, Dr. Dre name dropped Top Dawg Ent artist and Black Hippy Kendrick Lamar as an artist he admires and is about to meet and work with! Well as you all know Kendrick Lamar formally known as K.Dot is the Compton spitter we have been supporting since he emerged!
Our first update was way back in May 2007 and since then we have dropped countless tracks, mixtapes and updates about him under both the K.Dot and Kendrick Lamar monikers.
This week, following the release of Kush and the name drop on radio, Kendrick Lamar released a new track entitled "Look Out For Detox" where he showcases the talent and flow that first caught our ears as K.Dot. Check it out below!
Kendrick Lamar - Look Out For Detox
As always Dubcnn is the HOME for Westcoast Hip-Hop for both established and emerging artist! Huge credit to Dre for recognising fresh new talent and to Kendrick for his grind. We'll have the latest news and media as it emerges.

i said this in one of the other threads, but Kendrick Lamar is one of my fav rappers around. would love to hear him over some Dre beats. hopefully he doesn't just get signed to the label and stagnate though, like others have done
