Who wins...

1992-2010

Rae & Ghost is still as relevant as they was in 90s, while Daz is a joke and Kurupt is underrated

daz andk urupt made their music without needing RZA

i second this motion....

Kurupt is OVERRATED..
-
Kurupt's not overrated, he's just horrbly inconsistent with his delivery. More often than not, he can freestyle like a motherfucker, but half of his recorded verses for songs end up being garbage.
I'm going with Ghostface/Raekwon.
-
it is common sense, that Kurupt fell of. listen to his documented musical catalogue from 03 and up, and theres the proof.. delivery is another ballgame - the WHOLE package is wack... i guess ppl can feel what they want to feel - but generally speakin - yes, Kurupt is wack/overrated..
-
Tony Starks and Lex Diamond.

Kurupt is OVERRATED..
Yeah Dat!! Kurupt Fell The Fuck Off I'm Sorry To Say.

Tony Starks and Lex Diamond.
Both now and in their heyday.

Kurupt is over rated and Daz is under rated more like it. But yeah, Tony & Rae all day. I know Daz be on here so this ain't a plug but Daz truely is under rated. He's been 1 of the few consistent Original MC's from California/Oklahoma while Kurupt is kinda like a shadow of his former self. That 1 movie Kurupt played in (i forgot tha name) where he was a big artist but he left all of his good material back at tha old label and when he moved on he was just really wack and couldn't rap 4 shit lol (no pun). That movie alone is like Kurupt's fate.

i'm quite suprised at the answers given to this question. i would've expected people to be saying Daz & Kurupt (when posted in the West Coast section anyway).
for the record, for me it's Ghost & Rae. Daz & Kurupt haven't been worth checking for since the early 2000's.

u know as soon as I made this thread i was like damn, maybe it's too much of a given if I'm gonna count tha 03-10 years too. I was actually thinking about doing it from 1992-2002 that way there would've been a more "fair" argument. But they're grown men and they don't need handicaps so fuck it I went with what I went with.
-
daz and kurupt all the time
-
I think daz n kurupt have made more better music. rae an ghost fell off also. Cant denie though i got all DPG albums and only got Ghosts 1st and Rae's cuban linx 1 & 2. Did they ever actually do a album toghter or just the "guest starring" thing?
-
I used to be a huuuge dogg pound fan...but after Cali Iz Active I started to lose interest, I dunno exactly why, maybe I just grew out of it...I still listen to their old stuff and new also but I don't really check ALL their stuff nowadays...Kurupt's "Streetlights" was tight though...
So I choose Ghostface/Raekwon, cause they are still as relevant to me as before.
-

right, they needed some soopafly or fredwreck...dre at best.
btw. i think the kurupt/daz 'n capone/noreaga comparison woulda fit way better.
-
daz & kurupt wins easily
-
Tough one, im going with daz and kurupt
