I had to ask this question, becaus I am from L.A nd don't kno aaanybody who is feelin him. To me, he is one of those manufactued rappers that radio stations (Power 106 in this case) is paid to blow up. But he sucks, his lyrics aren't the worst but his delivery is completely terrible, and the worst part is he gets dope ass beats, like on John Doe, and Where I wanna be. I hope people outside of L.A. don't think he is the future of the West Coast.

I live in LA and i think that fool is bad. not the best tho
peace

ya, I don't like this guy. weak flow, and his voice sucks ass. but, like you said, he's always laced with a nice beat, which is the only reason I listen to his tracks
-
I LIKE HIM. DAMM THAT CD IS THE SHIT I LIKE IT I BUMP IT EVERY DAY
-
I like him a lot. He just has that right relaxed flow, I like that. It's soemthing different than you hear usually. His tracks on that Damizza album were very good, especially "Bounce" and "Where..." His solo album is just off the hook!
-
i think he is pretty tight...but nohting incredible...i love John Doe...

eXACtly. I like him, dont see nothing wrong with him but I can understand when people say he's boring though. But personally I think he's dope, he has just a laid back flow that is different to everyone elses in the rap game.
-
Yer hes dope!
-
Im from West L.A. and I like about a 1/3rd of the album. He gets way too many spins on 106 for sure.. but still.. its WC.. and I support the WEST so I aint hatin. 1/3rd of the album is knockin.. its not groundbreaking.. but its nice.

Not to mention.. they are tryin to promote him as Mr. Pretty Boy.. so what the hell else would you expect..?? He aint hardcore..

Well personally I think Shade is extremely talented and came out with 1 of the best but also 1 of the most underrated westcoast albums this year, with his unique flow and Baby Ree Mastermind Damizza dropping them dope beats along with shade and him cordinating the project its no wonder Dj Quik called him the future of the west coastat his finale concert a few months bac

Hes dope! Dont hate cause he aint a Gangbanger.
-
i think hes tight...true no lyrics...but he aint as bad as people make it seem...his album was one of the better albums of the year...to me
-
the nigga got a album full of dope beats and failed to bring heat
nuff said

over all a good cd for a 1st one, but you just can't bang it because his flow is monotone
-
His delivery, voice & flow is average at best.
His lyrics are aight, but he's pretty boring to listen to.
The only way I can listen to a track with him, is if the beat is knockin, or he got a doper rapper on a verse, or Nate Dogg on the chorus.
He sounds like he's about to fall asleep on the mic, and that isn't exactly the definition of a hungry MC.
-
LMFAO, suges arm is so fuckin fat, lol he looks like he on crack or sumtin, damn dat nigga be eatin 2 many porkchops, hahahaa
anywyas how old is that pic
-
he sux
-
The pics with Suge and Kurupt is about 3 months old
-
Me not likin him doesn't have shit to do it him not bein a gangsta...I am tired of the Gangsta/Thug shit anyway. I jus don't feel his delivery or lyrics. He sucks on Str8 West Coast
-
hes very average but damn I gotta agree, the beats he was given are all :o :o :o
Informal Introduction was a dope album IMO
-
I think he's pretty good, but nothin' I listen to over and over. He's got a few songs on his album that are pretty creative, I think; and almost all of the beats are great. He's got like a fuzzy style, the beats have a fuzzy bass sound, and they just squeak and stuff, it's hard to explain. Nice Warm Fuzzy Beats. LOL.
-
He's cool, I like him... But he ain't no "west coast saviour" or some shit. Just good music to listen to.
-
i like shade sheist...
my rating for his album : 7 of 10
some pretty dope tracks on it...
some music to chill to..
that's all it is :)

Like him or not, you have to respect the young mastermind. Not many people can earn their first Mil before they are old enough to drink.
-
Regardless of the like or dislike, the mothafucking album FLOPPED, even with MAD airplay that he's STILL getting. How pathetic is that?
-
