This is true. If TO's career hadn't been such a mess it's possible that he could have gone down as the greatest wide out ever.

If TO had started earlier and played all the years Young played in SF TO would have been remembered as the heir apparent to Jerry Rice. If he had been picked by the Colts in the 96 draft in either round 2 or 3, instead of Dedric Mathis or Scott Slutzker then he would have emerged as Peyton's #1 with Harrison as #2, would probably still be on the team and they would have won a ring as early as that 99 season and maybe had beaten the Pats both times in 03 and 04.

That's how good TO is.

Definitely not a coincidence that the 9ers and Eagles haven't been able to get over the hump since he left.

Nah, no way.  Dallas has had 1 major problem lately:  leadership.  Wade is a good defensive guy but not everyone is cut out to be the HC of the cowboys, especially with all of the different personalities on the team. (overall wade didnt do a terrible job at all.  Aside from our fallout this year, but thats another story).  Look at us with Garrett as HC, even as offenisvely challenged he is sometimes we're headed in a new direction.

And last year we took the division without Owens, and u being a Giants fan, I know u remember that.

The problem with Owens is he has a tendency to drop some easy ones, but he never slouches. If Moss gave it his all everytime he'd be the best ever maybe.

Yeah they won without Owens, but it's not like he was the reason they weren't winning before. His last year there Romo missed a bunch of games which really hurt their playoff chances. Yeah they looked like shit in that game vs Philly but I don't think you can put that on Owens either. In the two years before that they shouldn't have lost in the first round. The year before that they had the Giants beat and would've won the game if Romo hadn't missed an easy TD pass to TO in the end zone. And the year before that they were on the way to beating my Seahawks and would have if Romo hadn't fumbled that FG kick. I'm not saying they can't win without him cause they obviously have a talented team, I just find it funny how people think Owens was some major problem and that they're better without him.

I agree man, I think its mostly ESPN playing up every little tiny detail of everything trying to squeeze stories outta bullshit...especially in Dallas and with a guy not afraid to speak his mind like TO.  God that Seahawks game was fuckin terrible...lol...I ended up getting wasted and throwing a beer can at some bitch who was a Niners fan and trying to talk shit.

Yeah, the year that the Giants went to the Bowl was also heartbreaking.  We had them beat and like you said Romo threw a pick that was the nail in our coffin.  But I still hate how people hate on Romo like QBs dont throw picks or fumble the ball sometimes, hes just had a few costly ones cause hes a relatively young QB and was/is still learning.

Moss in his prime was the more exciting WR to watch. But TO was always the better ALL around WR IMO. Much better route runner. Its too bad his mouth fucked up his reputation.

i love how people talk shit (in general i mean) and forget about how good to was and is, and moss was and (is capable still of being). haters gonna hate. [especially eagles fans, like to was wrong to want more money after a spectacular season and playing in the superbowl with 1 leg, and mcnabb crying because the attention was away from him, what a fuck, the could have made a couple more easy runs at winning a superbowl, obv that wasnt important to donovan]
