Title: What Are The Top 5 Albums You Would Most Like To See Released By Wideawake
Post by: procrastiNate on December 07, 2010, 01:25:36 AM
I know this topic has been done to death but I've never seen it it done on this forum (I'm sure it has been) and i'm curious to see what 5 albums people on here would like to see released by Wideawake the most. Mine, in no particular order...

Jewell - Black Diamond
Dr. Dre
Sam Sneed - Street Scholars (The original album)
The LBC Crew - Haven't You Heard: We Givin' Somethin Bacc 2 The Hood
Tha Dogg Pound

Honestly, I would love for them to release the Pac album but we've already gotten so much material by him even in just the last year that I really want to see these other albums released first.

My answer would be the same as yours really.  I would first and foremost like to hear a 2Pac OG album (or albums, which hopefully we will be getting), even though most of us have the OGs.  Any more Snoop material would be welcomed, as would a Dogg Pound album - perhaps the West Coast Aftershock?

Also I would like to hear any Nate Dogg tracks that DR may still have, some more Danny Boy would be good, because I really liked 'It's About Time' (mixing and mastering aside), and of course the Sam Sneed album.  I guess everything basically!  8)

You're joking right? I know they have alot of stuff from him that isn't leaked. There's almost three Petey Pablo albums from Death Row though that have leaked in good quality. I haven't even played them out yet.

Do they really have a lot of kurupt tracks?  I saw a thread where someone composed a list of all the tracks and there were not really that many old kurupt tracks on there.

list is far from complete, plus its filled wit errors.

yeah, Snoop, Kurupt and 2pac had the best work-ethic on Death Row. Kurupt rhymed all the time in his youth. he has one of the biggest catalogues in Hiphop, just like Snoop

Don't forget Danny Boy, he recorded over 300 tracks while on Death Row.
