i agree with his first 2 being personal classics to me aswell... but i do prefer DPG LP, DPGCUKWITU, and SSD over it. it aint bad just some reason didnt feel it... maybe i should give it re-listen for the first time in years

Not surprised by the strenght of the first 2 albums - I didn't vote for either because they never did anything for me.

I guess that based on my votes, the 05-06 period was the best for me - I went with "Dogg Pound Gangsta LP", "Gangsta Crunk", and "So So Gangsta". I see that there's alot of hate for the "Gangsta Crunk" album, but it might have been one of the first 2 or 3 Daz albums that I picked up, and  I don't remember hating it at the time. I might need to give it another spin though to see if anything has changed over the past few years. I remember thinking that Daz has a good voice and flow for that southern style, but I didn't like the southern-style album that he did with Nuwine around that time at all.

The other album I picked is the original version of "I Got Love in these Streetz" - the opening track is probably my favourite Daz/Dogg Pound track of all.

I don't understand all the love for DPGC...U Know What I'm Throwin' Up. That shit is definitely one of my least favorite Daz albums.

I just gave the album another listen, and although it's not Daz's best work, I can't say that it's his worst album. The first half of the album has some decent tracks. Some cuts like "Bigg O' Butt" are straight garbage, but not everything...  Maybe some of the songs are a bit too long - should be only 3 min and the skits get a little annoying.

That said, I don't think it's Daz's worst solo album - that would probably be "Gangsta Party". I've got all of his stuff except the last one, and I find that the may have some strong songs, the albums lately become forgettable. At least, I found that "gangsta Crunk" was different for him and mostly suited his lyrical style - it would have been so much worse if it were a Dogg Pound album.
