Well judging by them numbers, Curren$y sold more than Soulja Boy after 1 week which is obviously good thing. Not particularly good sales for Kanye.

Maybe its a good look for hip hop. He got exposed as a C.O. and got torn apart by 50. That would have killed a rapper's career in the 90s. Maybe image is becoming less important for the record-buying public. This encourages rappers to focus on the actual music more instead of portraying a character.
