Title: Kush has the most replay value out of any song this year
Post by: MrJas on December 16, 2010, 04:16:02 PM
This song does not get old. Dre must have been listening to this shit for like 9 years straight lol.

Seriously though i think we'll look back on this song and call it a classic.

I agree.. I still bump it and I am far from sick of it..

I do not think that it will be considered a classic though!

And if it does its only cause it was the first single from DETOX

I've played it hundreds of times...still hasn't gotten old. The sonics of the drums and everything is just great. I don't think it'll be considered a classic in years to come. But like the other poster said, it might just for the fact that it's Detox's first single.

Agree its in the same mold as still Dre. Im betting the second and third singles will be even better juts as forgot about dre and next episode was.
Rememeber Dre also said he wanted to shoot 5-6 videos for it.

I don't play it at all.

6'7" by Lil Wayne is better based on bars and energy from the mcs.

Kush has the most replay value in terms of west coast hip-hop music, but there are loads of songs that easily get more spins than Kush.

I was over it in the first week, then the video came out & I was back on it for about 2 days then I was over it again until I heard it yesterday. The beat is bangin.

beat is nice as fuck imo but im not keen on akon, would have loved nate doing that verse instead but of course it was impossible .....i think butch cassidy or mr kane would have been better than akon .
dre's verse is nice and he kills it imo...oh is the remix with game on it official??

Really? Off the top, I can name five songs from the WEST from this year with more replay value:
Evidence - "To Be Continued..."
Ice Cube - "Pros v. Joes"
MC Eiht - "Fine by Me"
Ras Kass - "Goldyn Chyld II"
Suga Free - "Nobody"

And ten more songs with the most replay value this year:
Joell Ortiz - "Battle Cry"
De La Soul - "The Return of DST"
Raekwon - "Butter Knives"
Kanye West - "Dark Fantasy"
Kanye West - "Devil in a New Dress"
Nick Javas - "Opportunity Knocks"
Kid Cudi - "Ashin Kusher"
Lloyd Banks - "Start It Up (full, unreleased version)"
Joe Budden - "Remember the Titans"
Black Milk - "Welcome (Gotta Go)"

Peace!

Crook... who? Does he still exist? Did he ever exist?

First time I listen to it, "Kush" sounded just ok... now it's always on replay, the video helped too (and that was an instant classic video, I don't care if most of y'all hate it, y'all see).
