Samuel Eto’o was on target as Inter outclassed TP Mazembe to collect the Club World Cup with a predictable 3-0 victory in the final.
Eto’o played in Goran Pandev to open the scoring from 12 yards on 12 minutes with the African side’s defence all over the place before Inter captain Javier Zanetti picked out Eto’o on the edge of the box.
The Cameroon captain slammed a low volley into the net. It was his 19th goal in 23 games for Inter, and gave the Italian champions an unassailable lead with only 17 minutes gone.
Diego Milito blew three excellent chances to enhance Inter’s lead, but substitute Jonathan Biabiany, who had replaced the misfiring Milito, applied the finishing touches to a deserved win with the third goal on 84 minutes.Biabiany accepted Dejan Stankovic’s pass to slide the ball beyond Muteba Kidiaba in the Mazembe goal.
Inter have now won the trophy three times after winning this tournament’s predecessor, the single-match Intercontinental Cup played by the European and South American champions, in 1964 and 1965 after twice beating Independiente of Argentina

it's a shame Inter won't win anything worthwhile this year.

True. But Inter vs Munich should be interesting.
Seriously, I don't even know what this "club world cup" is. I Only know the intercontinental club. Have they changed it or what?

club world cup is so stupid, euro champs pretty much just play 2 games, they need to make it a group thing where all the teams play and the one with most points wins
inter stil has chances to win stuff this year, they are 2 games behind rest of serie A so if they win both they'll be right up the top 6 teams, same points as juventus, lazio and napoli, so they can still win...and if they get a good coach they can still do good in CL cuz they have the same exact team as last year

they'll only get themselves out of their current position if they get rid of rafa the rotator

Completely pointless lol. They are abysmal this year. Playing really poor in the league.
Rafa has never been a good coach IMO. It's good for Inter that he's gone
