Lol.  Yeah, but if Kurupt was truly the Joe Budden of the group he would have legion of delusional fans who thought that he was the greatest mc to ever touch a microphone.  And they would spend hours each day both heaping praise on him and shit-talking Crooked I.

just like Joe Buddens has the best verse on the slaughterhouse song "woodstock  hood hop"

if you record 50 songs together eventually the weakest link will have the best verse on atleast one lol

altohugh i do love Kuirupt for his hayday

I understand your logic...the only problem with it is... The HRSMN have not recorded anything close to 50 songs together.  ;)

I suppose SH may have a few more songs to their credit  in terms of how long they've been a group

one thing that kills me is Kurupt would hop on a Canibus song and use an old death row era verse like "i expose 575 flows in the inking of a second...." because he knew he needed to keep up

They all better come harder than the last horsemen album. Joe Budden is not as weak as you guys claim. Maybe you guys need to LISTEN more. The whole Slaughterhouse rarely comes weak, so Kurupt definitely needs to step up to the mic!! Crooked I is just eating people alive lately and Ortiz is not far behind. ROyce and Budden come hard most of the time but they are not my favorite in the group. Regardless I admit that they are TOP Notch Lyricist.

Lookin forward to the project hopefully these guys can put together a string of actual songs, and not a bunch of disjointed thoughts/freestyles.

Budden's lyrics are great, but personally I feel like he fits the Slaughterhouse group dynamic the least.  His style is just different.  For the most part, I like Budden's solo stuff better than his verses in Slaughterhouse.  That's not to say that I think of him as the "bad member" of Slaughterhouse, just the one that I think fits in the least.

That would be the Joell Ortiz of the 4 horsemen..

and this could be interesting.. prolly turns out mediocre though..

Buddens and Ortiz are good lyricists, so is Kurupt when he doesn't try to freestyle everything and writes his rhymes down

Yeah i never been a fan of Joe Budden but yes the dude can RAP. I also agree that some of these dudes don't seem to fit in together and i would have chosen a different slaughterhouse but at least they are all real MC's.

Yup thats what i been thinking also. Kurupt needs to take his time and write more shit. I know Kurupt still has the ability to murder tracks because he still brings shit out that is sick once in a while. He just needs to be more consistent and come up with some new shit we have not heard.
