Title: quick death row sessions ep and mc ren maxi single??

was it ever officially released? my copy has the death row logo, dj quik at the top and promotional use only at the bottem. And also i got this mc ren maxi single featuring some john doe with 4 songs on it. what was it a promo for??? any info on either of these? i just got em from my girl 4 christmas  8)  8)

 I don't believe the Dj Quik Death Row sessions was ever an official project, but a fan made project.  The people who put it out did a pretty good job on the cover art, which may explain why you thought it looked like it might be official.
 The MC Ren tracks are from an album he did with John Doe that leaked onto the internet several years ago.  I don't believe it was ever officially released either.  Because at the time, MC Ren had announced that his next album was to be called "Renincarnated," people mistakenly believed that this release was "Renincarnated," when in fact it was not.  But I think all of the copies that are circulating on the net are labeled that way. Ren dropped the real "Renincarnated" a while back as a digital album.

yeah the quick one looks real good. i'm glad i have it and the audio is in high quality. the artwork is really nice if its fan made, as far as the picture, its just like every other one on goole images. and i believe that the mc ren one was self released and official. just because it has his official website on the inside booklet and credits and says look out for the lost in the game dvd, which was released. dope christmas presents.

The cover for Quik CD was made by Pappa, who also designed artwork for past Dante's projects..
