DESCRIPTION
IN 1995 C-STYLE AND SNOOP DOGGY DOGG TOOK WHAT THEY LEARNED FROM THE LEGENDARY DR. DRE AND FORMED A NEW GROUP CALLED “THE L.B.C. CREW”. THE LBC CREW CONCISTED OF NOW LEGENDARY WEST COAST ARTISTS SNOOP, BAD AZZ, TECHNIEC AND LIL C-STYLE. IN 1995 THEY RECORDED OVER 30 SONGS WITH LEGENDARY PRODUCERS SUCH AS DJ POOH AND LT HUTTON. AFTER THERE FIRST HIT SINGLE "BEWARE OF MY CREW", WHICH WAS FEATURED ON MARTIN LAWRENC’S MOVIE “A THIN LINE”, THERE FIRST ALBUM WAS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED BUT THE ALBUM NEVER HIT SHELVES DUE TO INDUSTRY ISSUES. FIFTEEN YEARS LATER, THE L.B.C. CREW'S 15 TRACK LP WILL SHOW PEOPLE WHY DEATH ROW RECORDS AND THE LBC HAVE AND WILL ALWAYS BE ON ANOTHER LEVEL.

i can't even lie, that tracklisting looks sweet right now. that's an allstar line up. "Blueberries" & "Dippin N' My Lo Lo" used to bang daily for days on end.
-
ok, so can someone please clear this up, we see indo blueberry mixed by sam sneed on the og pics of the album,
why indo blueberry mixed by dave arron on this????
who mixed the doggather version? i dont have my vinyl and album handy....
and if we get a shitty wideawake version of indo blueberry, then i will bump the full version I have from 1999 which is mixed by Sneed and sounds amazing...
-
that's dope that they're releasing an lbc crew album with just all material from 95/96.
a new lbc crew album is cool, but first an lp of the old hidden classics needs to be released first.
what happened to these lbc crew songs,...
"Doggystyle '96/From me to you"
performed by: snoop, bad azz, threat, warren g, lil c style, techniec
http://www.youtube.com/v/1TDgfAJiRqI
"Party people"
performed by: snoop, mack 10, bad azz, techniec, kurupt, threat
http://www.youtube.com/v/J9vFYNiF6I0
why didnt they add these songs to the cd?
I hope they eventually gets released on some wideawake release so we can get them in cdq
-
Those have both been released already. The first was released on the box set that WideAwake put out. The 2nd was released on Snoop Doggy Dogg At His Best, the Greatest Hits album that Death Row put out after Dead Man Walkin. The original, or an alternate version of Party People with only Snoop on it is on the Lost Sessions album that WA put out.
-
ah yeah, thats right. totally forgot about that. thanks

Well, the Snoop project and Danny Boy had great tracklists too but the mixing/sound quality ruined them quite a bit. Hopefully, this one doesn't suffer the same fate but history seems to side against it.

I'm just going to forget about the sound qualiity of the first 6 albums. By the time Sam Sneed drops it'll be a new year and Wideawake Will have owned Death Row for over two years. They better get thier shit together from here on out or I will not be buying anything from them. Also, what's up with that tracklisting in the first post? Where did it come from?

just read the first line in this threat and you'll know
-
I'm saying, why would Lara Lavi have that in one of her emails? She has nothing to do with Wideawake at the moment.
-
So does one213 feature Soopafly or not? In one tracklist it says it does, the next one it doesn't! I need to know this!

I'm hoping it does so you can add it to your epic Soopafly Song Review thread
