If I had a dime for everytime I had to explain Ne-Yo's relation to the west I'd be as rich as Hova right about now.
Dude's from Las Vegas, Nevada. Not Cali, but still West. Even Shade Shiest confirmed it.

To my knowledge Ne-yo is from Sherman Oaks and now lives in Palmdale. That's Westcoast without a doubt.
