What is everyone looking forward to on this tape?
-
not looking foward to it at all, the tape budget is probably about $100.
not the mention the features are gonna suck, plus dude drops 1 mixtape every year... my anticipation is at 0.
-
I'm looking forward to his link up with Killer Mike (or whatever he's call himself these days) plus production from S1 who did Kanye's Power
I think Juice is gonna surprise a lot of people with this one
-
Im looking forward to hearing a new Juice tape. i just hope that the damn dj tags are at a minimum. Also I agree with dude about Juice taking way too fucking long to drop a mixtape. He needs to stop treating his mixtape releases like fucking album releases. We want a steady flow of music. The way he goes about handling his business is going to keep him from generating a buzz.

based on what?
-
not only is this guy wack but he steals his name from a legendary emcee with 100x the skills and flow

Forgot to say, the tape sis hosted by Ill Will, DJ Drama & Big Mike

:puke: :grumpy:
That just killed any type of anticipation I had for a new Juice mixtape. Truth is, I haven't really liked any of his material since Death Certificate.

Same here, that fucked up my anticipation too. I can already hear it "Djdjdjdj Illl will exclusive....your wifeys favorite dj....DJ Big Mike....DJ Drama....30 seconds later a 2 verse track starts. Juice needs to let that shit go, and I hope the songs on this tape are complete tracks.

I don't even think he is BWS anymore
-
I heard his first single (The one i think he will drop as the single), and it is really good and catchy.. There's another track titled 'Open Letter' that he apparently speaks on some shit. So i mean i think everyone should really give this tape a chance. Now i can't comment on the tags as i don't know how the DJ's are going to handle that.

Yeah I think ever sine his deal with Capitol fell through so did the partnership with Game. But that doesnt mean they arent still down with eachother. Im sure you will see more colaberations in the future but you aint gonna hear Clyde shout out BlackWall anymore. Also, I read on Clyde's twitter that new music is coming from him soon.
On the other note, I am still gonna listen to Juice's mixtape because I am still a fan. i just hope that its put together well.

Not really a big loss for BWS, in my opinion. It seemed like his work ethic was pretty bad. Dropped dope music when he did but not on a consistent basis.
I'll check out the mixtape also but I think the DJ's are going to ruin it. That was one of the problems with his last one hosted by DJ Cannon. All the yelling and the rewinds, terrible. Plus the beat selection was pretty bad.
Why did he stray away from using DJ September 7th?

I AGREE ON THAT IF YOUR GOING TO START LEAKING SHIT OUT YOU BETTER HAVE TO BUDGET TO DO IT AND RELEASE IT RIGHT AWAY SO THE FANS CAN STAY TUNED TO YOUR SHIT! BUT THEN AGAIN THATS THE PROBLEM WITH MOST INDIE RAPPERS TODAY NO BUDGET! THATS WHATS SLOWS THE PROCESS DOWN! PEOPLE WITH GOOD MUSIC AND TALENT BUT NO BUDGET TO PUT IT OUT! SHIT NOW AT DAYS LABELS ARE LAZY THEY DON'T WANT TO TAKE THE CHANCES ON PUTING NO BUDGET OUT FOR ARTIST THEY WANT ARTIST TO HAVE THEIR OWN SHIT GOING THEIR OWN BUZZ THEN ONCE YOU BROKE YOURSELF ENOUGH AND GOT THINGS MOVING FOR YOU THEN THEY WANT TO JUMP ON THE BAND WAGGON AND ROLL WITH YOU!

If I was him and my budget for promotions was limited I would sit tight on my shit until it was all complete then I would leak a couple tracks over a month or two and then drop that shit.
Too bad he couldnt afford to get Skee to host this tape.

Well yeah but dont you get irritated when you motherfuckers like DJ Don Cannon screaming every 10 seconds on tracks and doing those fucking sirens 10 times in a song. Guys like Skee dont do that as often. Its like the lesser of two evils you know?
