Knoc-Turn'al - If U Wanna (Feat. K-Young) (Audio) - By : Mil - January 10, 2011
Another big single has just dropped! This time its Knoc-Turn'al and he hooks up with label mate and extremely talented singer/songwriter K-Young for the official radio single off Knoc's forthcoming "Knoc's Ville" album. The track is titled "If U Wanna" and it's produced by Komplex.
Three of Treacherous' talented musicians deliver which is sure to not only be a radio smash, but the catchiest single of Knoc-Turn'al's illustrious career which has marked collaborations with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Timbaland and many more.
Best Buy recently approached Treacherous Records/Hoopla Media Group and the three parties finalized a last minute deal to give Best Buy the first week exclusive on the release of "Knoc's Ville."
Due to their newly found partnership, the album has been postponed from it's original January 11 release date to a date no later than March 2011.
Enjoy and don't forget to request "If U Wanna" on your local radio stations:

That well definately get mad radio play. Its one of those type of songs. Good shit, Knoc is coming correct with it.
-
I'm feelin' this, it's a bit too pop though but i'm feelin it.

I agree its too pop, but its okay cause he made the track good enough for us to like and good enough for the radio to spin it over and over again. Its like the right mixture for a first single. Knoc deserves a chance to really shine and I hope he gets it.

better than the gayme single... 8)

U do know that! ;D
Yeah it might be a hit..kinda half catchy (and I ain't hatin!).
Always hard to know what's gonna blow up. Knoc's obviously put a lot into makin a track just to get some Radio play.
-
this is crazy good!
-
Very nice! I can see this being at least more successful than Crooked's 'Villain'. A well-made party track to bounce to is a good starter for an album release. 8)
-
Glad y'all like it so much so far!

Your right on that one! Boy needs his time to shine! All these other foolios on the radio is boo boo!! And I don't see no Yogi anywhere!! lol Song is dope! 8)
-
yeah this is alright for something for crossover appeal! i can get down to the beat, knoc sounds decent too.
and am i smelling some strong 80's inspiration on the melody (yazoo) 8)

Yeah Komplex used a lot of 80's sounds in there. There is a thriller type of melody and all that electric freestyle type of music. Its a good mix, it kind of makes you feel corny for listening to it but then not so much.
-
This is.. ehh..
Like the hook though.

track has been sampled to death, but

would anybody go watch Knoc perform live?

would anybody go watch Knoc perform live?
600 people on Friday at The Cadillac Ranch in Las Vegas! It's a poppin' club but still, I got footage, they were havin' a great time while Knoc performed. Soon as he came on stage the crowd flocked to the stage.
Another show This Saturday (Jan. 15) in El Centro, California at Ivy Nightclub. More show dates being added now.
-
this is dope.
-
Shit is kinda cool in a pop way, can see it getting the same crowd as Black Eyed Peas, all the best for Knoc if it helps the album come out! The fucks all that peanut butter jelly shit though lol
-
Two things:
1. K-Young - What do these people see in this guy?
2. Autotune - It rarely works. This time around it did not. I thought it was a one time thing Knoc used autotune.
Other than that, Knoc comes correct and the beat is cool. Get rid of the autotune and replace the singer for a decent one and you have a great track.

YES!

Hopefully this won't end up in my Singles That Could've, Should've But Didn't thread ;). Shit rocks 8).
-
I have nothing against Knocturnal, but ya'll are crazy if you think this will get played on the radio. C'mon. Does Knocturnal post here or something? Independent rappers don't get radio play.
-
nice track 8)
-
"Peanut butter jelly?" Really, Knoc? I'm not hating on the guy, but if this EXACT song had been created by a pop-rap act like YG or Cali Swag District, it would have been unanimously panned on here.

"Peanut butter jelly?" Really, Knoc?
I know I'm late, but word! Repeated 8 times? Wtf?
Knoc done fell the fuck off, this track could have been good if it hadn't been for Knoc's "contribution", wack ass verses with auto-tune. :-X

At least reserve judgment til u hear the album. It'll sway that statement, no doubt.
-
man iv blazed this song on a constant since it dropped...my friends who just listen to mainstream music heard it and they loved it especially the "peanut butter jelly" lol, so it does have potential of being a great single if it was pushed
-
gay ass song
-
not bad for a single, this is radio friendly , lol at peanut butter jelly
