-
lol, damn fool 35-40 for a cd. I collect cds too. But the most i have ever paid for a cd was 20 dollars or 25 dollars. I think it was for a 2pac cd or somethin. How many cds do you got?

I paid a hefty 30€ for Ghetto Heisman 'cause I had to import it from the States... After about two weeks from gettin' the CD in the mail I see the shit on the shelf of every record store and department store... I was both pissed & glad: I paid 'bout 10€ more compared to the price they sell it in stores, but it's good that dub's gettin' good distribution. But I ain't really mad about the 10€, the album's bangin'... And I got it before anyone else.

i had paid 22$ for Daz Dillinger - RAW i think thats the most i've paid... ive also paid 21$ for Too Short - that one compilation independent game compilation thing

I paid like $50 for Kokane's "Funk upon a rhyme" a couple years ago.
EM28.....Kokane's got three CD's out: "Who Am I? Addictive Hip-Hop Muzick (1991), Funk Upon a Rhyme (1994), and They call me Mr. Kane (1999)....the first two are rare, but They call me Mr. Kane is easy to find.

Hey Lazy DPG206, they got a K Dee on half.com for like 30 bucks, and check Ebay, I think they had one I saw it yesterday
EM28, I got like 300 cd's last time I checked but that was like a month ago, this past week I bought 17 cd's alone so my collection has grown quite a bit
and 50 bucks for Kokane Funk Upon A Rhyme Tha Cracka J is worth it if u ask me cause that cd is straight up classic!!!!!
-
hell yeah $50 was worth it! it's one of my favorite cd's
-
I paid 30 for PPC - Paid The Cost. Thats with shipping and everything. Keep in mind thats Canadian money so In the states that would only be 20. But damn all the rare ones i buy off ebay are almost double of what you guys pay. And i check almost daily for Uncle Sams Curse and Funk Upon A Rhyme...This time around i wont let them pass me by.

all the cd's I have been buying have been used, to buy new is just way too expensive now in days
My whole collection is just rap/hip hop but mostly westcoast, I have east, midwest and some down south
I have like 10 rock cd's but thats it
-
For A CD? Maybe like between 20-25$. Now I look for the best deals, and get CD's for about 10$.
-
I bought PPC and Hi-C's first album for 50$, including shipping that is...

I paid $15 for a vinyl promotion of Westside Connection. It is a picture 12" with WESTSIDE CONNECTION written on the vinyl on one side, reprints of WSCG autographs on the other side and a 22 minute interview with Ice Cube and Mack 10 about the East Coast on one side and an Ant Banks remix of Gangstas Make the World Go Round on the other. I guess I'm just lucky because I got K Dee and Kokane for $8 this year, Soul on Ice for $9 and picked up a couple copies of Uncle Sams' Curse when it came out. I have a thing where I won't pay more than $15 for a CD or vinyl because I KNOW shit will show up at a store that doesn't know what's up.

Yeah.....just have to be patient. Sooner or later a cd won't reach that $30 status and you can snag it or the guy at the cd store who still wears Pantera and Ratt t-shirts won't know what's up and sell it for $5....lol
-
Most I paid is £25, which is the regular price here.
-
damn some of you peeps have spent some $$$$$ but those albums u guys bought are must haves and well worth the scrilla
I got Kokane's Funk Upon a Rhyme twice on half.com for 5 bucks and Uncle Sams curse for 6 bucks too
I even the OG Bone Faces of Death for 5 bucks but I sold it for 50
on Ebay I got Hi C Skanless for 12 bucks and it was still in the long box
just this week I seen HI C second release "Swing'n" for 7 bucks but I already own it, maybe I should buy it and slang it

This cd never goes that high. I got my copy for about $4. But man how did u manage to pick up Funk Upon A Rhyme for 5 bucks? That shit always goes waaaay past my price range as soon as its posted up on ebay. You should sell one. It could be an easy 30-40 bucks...
-
i sold my extra kokane cd for like 40 bucks, on half.com u never know what kind of stuff u can find for dirt cheap, some peeps just want to get rid of stuff so they sell it for cheap or they dont know that its hella rare
I dont usually use ebay cause the bidding just skyrockets in there, just this week I found Seagram's - Reality Check cd for 7 bucks used, on half.com peeps are selling it for like 80 bucks :o :o :o
-
