dude in the beginning did better than Akon on this track, imo. akon sucks :\

I didn't think Akon really fit with the track either. But Akon's the go-to hook guy for the new generation. Nate wasn't available and Dre's already fucked with him before. He did his thing on Boss's Life. Completely understandable why he would be chosen.
