Earlier this week we revealed the new cover of the March 2011 issue of XXL with Eminem, Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf gracing the front. We here at XXLMag.com are thrilled about the entire Shady 2.0 cast, but asked the fans: “Which of the new Shady signees are you most excited about?”
The readers have spoken and after garnering 39% of the vote, it is Crooked I— one-fourth of the Slaughterhouse machine, that has fans in a frenzy.

I forgot if Crook is still in a solo deal with another label or not but if he isnt I hope Shady signs him to a solo deal too. Crook fits perfect with that Shady style.

I agree Crooked I is the best out of all the new Shady signees. Anybody that knows hip hop knows that Crooked I is Top 10, and if u don't agree then it's cuz u clearly don't understand quality.

To be honest, I'm more excited for any Joe Budden album off Shady. Not because I'm a bigger fan (even though I am), but because Eminem is Joe's favorite artist ever & I feel with the right direction with Eminem Joe can release some of his best music.
Then to continue being honest, I'm excited for all solo releases by these four with Shady behind it.
But as of now, none of them can release a solo album with him. :-\

No doubt your right, Joe Budden is an amazing artist and I could see a Shady solo record being epic for him as well. But your right these guys are locked up in other deals that are currently keeping them from becoming exclusive to Shady but we can hope that sometime in the near future these things can come to life.

I cosign that shit. It would be fucking amazing.....To that dude that said Kendrick Lamar is better than Crook and Budden, your reaching with that one buddy. I mean Kendrick is great but hes still a kid developing his talent, hes still raw and un polished. Budden and Royce are the most polished in the group with Crook right behind them. They can all rap equally but its their delieveries that set them apart from eachother. Budden and Royce can deliver verses amazingly especially with Eminem directing them. Crook is my personal favorite of the group and I think Eminem can help get him into that next level of music quality that Crook has been on verge of reaching for quite sometime now. Ortiz is the only one I cant seem to get into, I dont know what it is about him but he doesnt appeal to me.

Not if he wanna stay just gangsta with his music. I know how versatile he is but most of the times his other stuff don't do it for me, like he didn't exactly knows how to approach some topics musically.

IMO he is definitely more diverse but the outcome is often not all that musically. For example Can I Talk To You. Lyrically amazing, musically decent. Let Me Buy You A Drink was great, though. So much for deep/thoughtful songs but what he often seems to trying to produce is a hit that could make it commercially. In this field some input from the Shady camp might help.
