im goin to paris for the weekend, from friday to sunday and i was wonderin if any of ya'll knew some good shops for rap cds (westcoast preferably), or some good second hand shops to get some cheap shit..

I was in Paris this past summer. Don't expect any French people to be nice to you there - they hate us Americans; and we fuckin liberated their asses.
Other than that, I dunno of any shops to hit up. Go buy a French rappers albums. I don't know what they are saying - but it sounds cool lol.

yea french rap is quite cool
french people ARE rather unfriendly. but i speak french fluently so it might be a bit easier for me ;)

Paris has hes positive & negative sides, most ppl are Friendly but if you dont talk French, its a pitty.. They aspect you to talk french or atleast some similar language to French... Paris is some nice city, havent been there to offen but enough to know its a nice but not multi-cultural language speaking city... I dont know if you ever went to those Artists that draw you for a nicle, they are good... :o

Don't you ever say that again about Germans. I am not German, but almost my whole family has been killed by the Nazis in WW2. You have no idea what you're talking about stupid!
But Paris is dirty man. Only at the famous places it's nice, but it's very dirty. The people refuse to speak English, but they appreciate it when you try to speak French. I didn't find any cd's I wanted there though.

There is this Sting song that features a French rapper. It has a really tight hip-hop/cosmoploitan beat and hearing the raps in French sounds really interesting.
