Part 1 hands down. I consider Dilli & Gotti almost as good as Dogg Food. Daz & Kurupt went hard on this album. Great chemistry, very few but well-chosen features (Xzibit, Beanie Siegel, Slip Capone, RBX) and Mike Dean and Daz created a characteristic sound with that album and that's what makes it so good and unique. You could tell these two were hungry when they recorded the album, they wanted to prove that even 6 years after Dogg Food they still had it, and to me they did. They didn't simply just took material from the death row era and put it together loosely, they re-worked and re-recorded each and every track and added others, they improved the production (thanks to Daz, Mike Dean and Blaqthoven). They both put a little solo song on it. I remember buying it in 01 and listening to Livin Gangsta Like over and over again as i was mesmerized by the production and Daz's beat. Very cohesive and versatile album. Back when Tha Pound had some fresh ideas and concept to bring forth... It's a shame this album wasn't released on a bigger structure, it deserved more promotion... but i guess Daz ate well off this album since it did 200.000 independently and Kurupt refused to get paid for it.

Part 2 is cool but a bit rushed. It has some dope tracks like DPGC Muzick or Push Bacc and laid back vibes such as Hittin DOnuts In The Streetz, I Luv It When Ya but overall you can tell they didn't put the same amount of effort into this album. They recorded a bunch of songs to make an album to please the fans after they had reunited but the album isn't as cohesive and musically evolved as Part 1. But it does sound good, but it doesn't sound as relevant and innovative as Part. .

Part 1 is a classic in my eyes, part 2 is not worth to be called pt.2 it was a massive disapointment

Part 2 was when they got back together. That's why it seems a bit rushed unlike Part 1 when they took their time and made a borderline classic.

Prefer part 1, but personally, I prefer Daz Dillinger's "R.A.W." to either one of them.

The first one, no doubt about it. The beats on the second one were really good but Kurupt sounded weak on most tracks. I'm not sure even if he wrote any of his lyrics, Roscoe got credited on every track as a write and Kurupt didn't. I think he talked about this right after when the album came out, but i can't remember what he said.

It had something to do with the publishing, Kurupt said he wrote the lyrics from what I remember
