There's no question about it...If Dr. Dre produced a Snoop LP front to back, it would be 100% classic...Just check out all these tracks I compiled from Snoop Produced by Dre after the Death Row era...
1.Hennesey and Buddah
2.Fuck You (Feat. Dr. Dre & Devin The Dude)
3.Buck 'Em
4.Bitch Please (Feat. Xzibit and Nate Dogg)
5.The Wash (Feat. Dr. Dre)
6.True Lies
7.Lay Low (Feat. Butch Cassidy, Tha Eastsidaz, & Master P)
8.Bitch Please II (Feat. Eminem, Dr. Dre, & Nate Dogg)
9.The Next Episode (Feat. Dr. Dre & Nate Dogg)
10.Game Don't Wait (Remix) (Feat. Warren G, Xzibit, & Nate Dogg)
11.Bitch Niggaz (Feat. Dr. Dre, Hittman, & Six-Two)
12.Chin Check (Feat. NWA)
13.On The BLVD (Feat. Dr. Dre & Kokane)
14.Just Dippin' (Feat. Dr Dre and Jewell)
^^an album like this can EASILY be called "Doggystyle 2"...Dre needs to hook up Snoop with at least 5 tracks on his next album...Man, shit like this pisses me off...What's yall opinion on this?
-
True, I think thats why Dre keeps it rare...
-
indeed, there's no question about it, so why even bother to make a thread on the subject? ;D

YUP!!
Btw, props to myself for inspiring you to do this post.. ;D
And let's not forget "Still D.R.E." & "Losin yo mind" feat. Xzibit
-
indeed, there's no question about it, so why even bother to make a thread on the subject? ;D
It can be a pretty good argument on this board, seeing as several people saw "PTCTBTB" as near classic, dope as fuck & "Snoops best work in years".
Also, some people who shall not be named, said that Snoop don't need Dre, "Snoop is the boss & Premo is better than Dre" etc. etc. what worse is..
-
1.You didn't inspire me to do this...
2."Still D.R.E" and "Losin Your Mind" can't really be considered a Snoop song, seeing as Snoop didn't even rap a verse on either song...PeACe
-
props to yourself? heh, give yourself a pat on the back too while you're at it
-
I'm just pullin the guy's leg with that comment of mine
Anyways, my take on this subject is that Snoop could MANAGE without Dre, but with him, well, sky's the limit

1. I did, see below.
2. Snoop made those songs what they are. If it hadn't been for Snoop, they wouldn't have been the same at all.
You almost copied my post, but went further into detail..
Exactly.
Another example: Snoop's 2 worst albums had NO DRE-PRODUCTION.
On Last Meal & NL Topp Dogg there was 6 tracks:
Buck 'Em
B Please feat. Xzibit
Just Dippin
Hennessy N Buddah
Lay Low feat. Butch Cassidy, Nate Dogg & Tha EAstsidaz
True Lies.
True - "True Lies" was average, but the 5 others were tru classics.
"B Please" was even groundbreaking, not so say a revolution.
Dre+Snoop = Classic. End of story.

Dre and Snoop are legendes....together they are something more..No one can fuck with them..
I hope, and I think that Dre will be behind the boards on some tracks on the 213 album

man everybody thinks dre and snoop are like the best 2 put together in rap, and no way is premo better than dre is my eyes, but that still doesnt mean that ptctbtb isnt dope jus cuz dre isnt on it...........snoop proved he can rep without dre, jus with dre they make sumthing even mo amazing
peace

He can definently rap without Dre...But there's no way he can he make a classic without Dre...PeACe

maybe, but i dont think he needs a whole dre produced cd to become a classic now, check up on some of fredwrecks work on ptctbtb, its dope as fuck........but i like ya tracklistin u came up with, i mite put them onto a cd, haha
peace
-
Paid Tha Cost was after my opinion a nice CD, he'd put down some work there and proved that he can stand on his own feet.
Might as well as that Dre can't make a classic without Snoop either, they are meant to be a duo
-
word, its like dre n snoop were meant to be togetha
-
It's too bad Dre can't produce a whole album for someone besides for himself. If that ever happened - almost instant classic. Nowadays Snoop & Dre have much too demand and busy schedules to satisfy eachother.
