I'm looking forward to this.
I finally got the BlaQKout CD last week (I had about 5 or 6 of the leaked tracks) and I've got to say it's fucking incredible. Sonically, it's on another level and Quik does some really experimental things with the production.
I'm tempted to move him up to joint 1st with Dre as the greatest hip-hop producer of all time (imo).

Can't wait to hear it. After hearing some samples that was posted on youtube i'm almost sure this album is going to be at least as good as the worst Quik's album. And his worst album is in my top 10 albums of all time :).
Btw. I think BOD will flop when it comes to sales... Quik is more of an underground artist these days. But he IS an artist... so fuck record sales. Music should be on the first place... you hear me Dre? lol

Kudo's to Quik for having a clean version ready for the radio. Quik could develop a niche for grown-people rap that could catch on for those older hip-hop fans that are sick of the Soulja Boy's, Gucci Mane, Lil' B, etc.

totally agree about blaqkout! what an album!
Also - This is a dope track!! exactly what I was hoping for. would like to see more melodic hooks in the album, but all in all very good!
