Better than what we've heard lately but beat is boring for sure.
-
Much better than some of the crap he has put out lately but it still went right by me.
-
garbage...
-
beat is alright but I get the idea!! reminds me of that easy E song.. and SNoops flow is on point on this.. but one question are they going to leak the whole album like that?

here's the issue... folks that were alive & AWARE (important) thru the doggystyle album release or today's current generation of fans of that era, will not digg this new shit. Hip hop is so fucked up nowadays that it shouldnt be called "hip hop" anymore (something mentioned & nailed on at the WA/DRR site in that radio sam sneed interview/post & i TOTALLY concur) he could have made another "Mailice"-type album & that record did sell decently to the point were snoop would be content on making those type of records for the pop scene (ala "California girls") but he knows what hardcore fan-base he has left wants that hard shit so he's stuck trying to find a balance. this is what happens when u make songs for the bitches....they get greedy & want more.
as for the song at hand... its way better than that "New years eve" bullshit... yea for his wife whatever, some shit is better left "personal" i say lets make the beats MORE old-school (or simpler, whatever) so snoop will be forced to listen to himself flow & realize he's getting whacker/not hungry, take away the ability to hide behind flashy pop beats & concentrate on what really matters, which is his verbal content.
again, we dont need a new album every year. make each album worth something....damn...

Interesting. When Rap-up.com got a sneak peek preview of Ice Cube's Raw Footage back in April 2008 there was a song produced by Warren Campbell called "Raised In the Hood." Looks like Snoopy ended up with the track.

not that good but not that bad ???

Interesting. It was Rap-up that got the Ego Trippin OG preview too so their exclusives are real and they're tight with the Snoop camp.
I like this new track. it's really fresh, Snoops on point if you think of it as just a guy on a beat. Real raps whether you dig the type of beat or not. AND it's really important that it will make or break the track if it FLOWS well from each track either side of it and the album overall. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it and I'm actually more hopeful than ever the new albums gonna be tight.

Banging track 8), copping Doggumentary for sure.

I like that old school vibe in that tracC..... good song !!
-
not bad better than that pop radio shit he makes! at least hes back on his gangsta shit where he is supposed to be!
-
Like the flow... it's better than the singles, but this won't get many spins from me.
-
I like it. Yeah its another south-ish sounding track by Snoop but it sounds old school and i like the flows.
I agree its better thna the other songs he's put out so far. El-lay has grown on me quite a bit though.
