Here's how I see it:
The Rakim version easily had amazing lyrics/flow that you would expect from the GOD, but the beat was a little less interesting as the other two.
The Afterlife version from the ending credits of the movie "WAR" was much better than the Rakim beat IMO, just more going on.
The Busta Rhymes version is amazing on many levels, although I don't like the song too much. I love the beat, but I don't know if it's something I would listen to a lot (I don't). The beat here is pretty crazy, Dre used a shovel digging as the fuckin snare and a heavy grand piano as the bass drum. This one had the best beat IMO, and the whole theme of the song is sick, but in the end, as a song it's cool, just not something that can be played in the whip or chilling or whatever.
