that performance was a good look for him. but its kinda frustrating. i wished he would have rapped more, or even rapped some of his classics with a live band. that would have been dope. i can picture him performing I Paid My Dues on stage  8) good to see him around though.

4 tay is mad underrated. his 3 first albums (4 tay is back excluded) are the bomb. just today i was bumpin his classic collabo with Rick James. shit's amazing. he had his shine during the 90's but he's one of the many cali rappers that never got the full mainstream exposure they deserved when Cali was big. a classic album like off parole had a real mainstream appeal, it should have gone gold or platinum. pac was a real dude to put overlooked rappers like 4 tay, C-Bo, Richie Rich and E-40 et cie on the most mainstream release of the day when he could have settled with only big names like so many do.

i'd say don't fight the feeling (1994). but off parole (1996) is very close though
