Ive been thru the fog
in searh of the lost city
it was quite a long journey
and thorns stuck me and roughed up my jersey
mud upon my face my vision made fuzzy
and the I saw you with naked eyes
and it was all made right

under this full moon
under these bright stars
Under the crown and above my eyelashes
in the case of my skull
the memory of that night flashes
the memory of eternity rises from the ashes
and it steady burns,
eternally lighting my way
