Jerry B. Long aka Kokane has been slowly but surely rebranding himself and opening a new chapter in his career as a new G-funk inspired artist. Last month we brought you exclusive audio from the man with the legendary vocals in the form of What Makes You A Playa, which was produced by Tha Chill of Comptons Most Wanted.

Dubcnn favorite Jerry B. Long has graciously sent us over another new song to share with our readers. Its called "Hat Off To You" and like the other recent music he has leaked it is in keeping with the high standard he set many years ago when he originally made his entry into our playlists.

Love this song! Waiting for the Jerry Long album. I like that grown man vibe, but i miss the crazy Kokane from the Dogghouse dayz!

Agree with the first bit but Koka is giving us something very pure here with his 100% percent original sound. Smooth as silk with a crazy twist! :wavey:

That Jerry Long album is going to be be smooth as fuck. I hope he'll keep some space for pure funk songs on the album, like "my locs and my dogs". That's what i first meant!

Kokane should get back to rapping. he is a decent and funny lyricist..
but he isnt fololin me wit his "skills" as a singer, anymore.
those George & Bootsy-impressions are wack n played-out, n only worked in small doses when he was wit Snoop
dude just cant sing professionaly (this song was alright tho)
