News just in from a very close source that there will be a NEW Tupac single on way which can be purchased on Itunes in approximately 2 months or so.
The previously unheard track is called "Sistaz" and will be on a remixed beat (But rest assured the beat is great). It is rumoured to be ONE of his last recordings due to his voice in it as noticed in his confirmed last 3 known tracks. The only information I am giving away about the prodcuer is that he has created a classic Eminem & Dre collab.
It will be the first single off the new album and there will no longer be an Amaru Entertainment and the new label will be along the lines of TASF records.
Confirmation comes from sources at www.2pac.com
Stay tuned for more exclusive news at www.makaveli-board.net
EXTRA: The track will be 4 verses, Tupac solo

If I could reveal the producer, I would but I cannot.

only thing I needed to know.. lol
but uuhm.. somebody who did a classic dre/em collab?
Everytime they do a joint together one of them produced the song themselves?
who is it man? ;D
-
Alex da Kid is who popped into my mind as well, thank fuck it's not him
-
Guess you cant rule out dre ?
-
so much for an unremixed 2pac album this year lol
-
There is an unleaked deathrow era 2pac song called Sistaz Got 2 Have It, it might be that song
the masters were in deathrows vault but Wideawake doesnt have right to them
-
i can only think of a few eminem / dre collabs, and i was under the impression that all of them were produced by dre.
guilty conscience
old times sake
forgot about dre
whats the difference
my darling
hell breaks loose

8) the world needs some new pac right now
-
It coulb be only Em' or Dre, cuz Dre produced mostly of their collabs like Old' Time Sake, Forgot About Dre, Guity Conscience.
Its a "classic" c'mon, you forget "Say What You Say" prod by Em' himself.
If its Em', its not a big surprise... Loyal to the Game was mostly produced by Em', and we all know the love he got for Pac'!
EDIT : Say What You Say was produced by Dre. So Dre is behind this 2pac single, if dre produced that track "Bad Guys Always Die" from the Wild Wild West. I can't see other "classic" collab from them.
Dre as a producer for the next Pac's single. HUGE!
-
i think rockwilder produced If i get locked up which can be viewed as classic dre/em collabo. maybe
-
i really doubt it's dre. doesn't seem like something he would be involved with.
i forgot about if i get locked up tonight. i bet that is it.
-
Lookout for another bullshit 2Pac remix made by Amaru - unless they got a Johnny 'J' beat for it..
-
So... Alex da Kid, Eminem or Dre. Rule out Dre right away, he said many years ago he wouldn't do 2Pac tracks.
If it's not Alex da Kid then it's Eminem. Not a huge fan of his Pac production but we'll see.
-
8) the world needs some new pac right now
Hell Yeah!
but not some Em or bullshit production!! Let Daz/Soopafly/T.Martin handle it !!
-
Dr Dre wont work on any posthumous release due to 3 reasons:
1) He had a lot of respect for the artist that 2Pac was, despite their differences
2) He himself doesn't believe in releasing archived music
3) Dr Dre doesn't work for free
Others in the industry share reasons 1 & 2, such as Outkast, Immortal Technique etc, but those 2 were easily re-assigned with the likes of Ludacris & Papoose, but it doesn't change the fact that many big names have not appeared on 2Pac's posthumous releases due to the handling, and exploitation of his name to gain free work from big names to further profit
They will one day look back, once the well is dry, and realize all of the wasted opportunities, and dilution of work that created sub-par work, and reduced a global audience
I'd rather hear and have 1 solid release of 12 tracks, than 3 albums containing an enormous amount of wasted tracks

So would I, but that's never gonna happen. Capitalism is a bitch
-
They wont have 2pac obsessed Tom Whalley bending over backwards for whatever trash they want to put out this time either. Even though he stepped down as Warner Bros. CEO last year, it's clear he gave up the position unofficially much sooner than that. Probably a reason why we haven't seen any new releases in a good few years..
Amaru will have to find new powerful friends. I wonder what quality they'll sacrifice in 2Pacs music/image/personality in order to do so in todays market. Maybe something like:
THE ALL NEW 2PAC ALBUM, CONTAINING 15 PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED TRACKS, CONTAINING A NEW SOUND FOR A NEW AGE, PRESENTING 2PAC IN AUTO-TUNE FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME.... 2Pac is back, with a new album for the public, featuring FABALOUS, KANYE WEST, LLYOD, PLIES, YA BOY & MANY MORE... Featuring the first single "NEW TUNE" featuring PLIES, & DRAKE
They'll get monotoned, non-passionate flavour of the month artists that wont ever have longetivity, or remembered in 4 years from now all over the 1 video this album will have, to further degrade 2Pac

-
Scott Storch? I could see that... if he played one chord on a Dre/Eminem song I guess he co-produced it.
-
hope it won't dissapoint
-
I havent been this excited since Better Dayz album was released and the site went up.
Yessir.
-
News of a new single on tha way sounds great but, it sucks to know that it was remixed by someone outside some of the keepers of 2Pac (the producers worked with him). Can we have the original production or at least a remix that's done by those producers that worked with 2Pac because they do it with justice and they bring it? SMH!!
-
It's blatantly Eminem who will be producing this since he's hot property at the moment. Definatly not a project that Dre would be involved with and it's been semi-confirmed that it's not Alex Da Kid (thank fuck!).
I don't know why they continue to release remixes to 2Pac songs though. Do they not listen to their fans at all?
-
^ yeah, i don't see why they don't just release them with the OG beat
-
I would like to hear battlecat produce it. Eminem fucked up a whole pac album..im still pissed over that. Why did people like Ems production anyway? that shit was ass.
-
So, anymore news on this ?
was it fake or what ?
-
Mark Batson, Mike Elizondo, or Mel-Man are my guesses. All 3 did some sort of work on at least 2 songs involving Dre & Em spitting lyrics.
-
Interesting 8)
