Listening to this instrumental makes me realize how shit this beat really is. And those cheesy ass effects on the verses are wack as fuck. I know Eminem pretty much made this song for Dre, on his own, hence why it's pretty much an Em solo song and why Alex Da Kid is even on there, but I have to keep asking myself . . . Dre, you couldn't at least re-make this shit???

Just heard the "I need a doctor" instrumental back to back with the "Kush" instrumental. "I need a doctor" loses in every aspect. I just cannot believe that Dre really likes the instrumental the way it is - it kinda sounds like some radio ripped beat and really fucks up the whole song. My opinion is a little biased there, but I just can't stand Alex Da Kid's productions.

Lyrics and hook are good though, in my opinion.

INAD doesn't come close to "Kush" . Inad is a muddy mess and definitely not a representation of dr. dre

Kush is example of Dr.Dre sound, Im enjoying that song more and more with each bump, Kush on the good headphones=amazing sound.

INAD grew on me alot the last couple of days, but still, its nothing more than a avrage pop song. Thats it, thats all it is. We all exprected something special from Dre, and this is what we got= This is a song anybody could do. The mixing is crap, still sounds unfinished to me!!

For me Dr.Dre`s trademark is the crisp sound, but this songs sound like they skipped the mixing.

Actualy, the dopest version i heard on this song is the grammy performance and that says alot.

i think the beat is ok, i like the melody. but in a way it sounds cheap yes

well to me it doesn't sound like Dr.Dre. Dre doesn't really use weird sound effects

i find it weird you should say that, i feel the exact opposite from you - i can't stand the beat, and i think the hook is arguably the best part of the song

I'm probably in the minority here but I think "Kush" and "INAD" should both be left off of Detox; Dre said that Detox wouldn't have the same sound as "Kush" and "INAD" is whack so why include these songs on an album that has the potential to be his final classic masterpiece. "Kush" was ok but I think everyone expects more than that from Detox's first single. "INAD" isn't even ok imo, it sounds like a below average, "Love The Way You Lie" knock off (which I didn't like either) that would be on the B side of an Eminem single and not make the album. When I hear "INAD" I feel like they were just trying to cash in on the popularity of "ILTWYL", production wise and hook wise they're very similar; Dre and Em did have good verses though for the type of song that it is (they should re-record the verses over a real Dre beat and come up with a better hook). This is probably gonna sound crazy and will never happen but... I think Aftermath should release an online only EP that includes these two songs plus another one or two songs that are leftovers from Detox and include the three or four instumentals as well (they can call it De-EP-tox... ok now I'm just talkin out my ass ;D). For real tho, the EP will get everyone ready for Detox (like we haven't already been waiting for years), they can see what the feedback is and make some money off of it. Then, without leaking any songs and or a single before the release date is official, finally release Detox.

fair enough, i never thought that the beat would grow on me.

a Detox lost sessions compilation, after the release of Detox would be a good idea to me. it probably won't happen though

yeah, that would be dope, a 3 disc album with tracks that didn't make the final cut for Detox
