At the height of his career, in the heat of the beautiful Summer of 96' with Death Row on top of the world, and Dre having just left, the East Coast beef in full swing, just a mere couple months before his death... 2pac sat down with Bay Area's own Sway. This interview is the stuff of legends in my opinion... I'm going to post some of my own thoughts later...

Nigga was talking fuckery in this interview
-
-In the interview he mentions that Treach had beef with the 60's (Crips) out in LA and that Pac had to go talk it over with them so Treach could get a pass
-he says in 5 years he see's himself still on death Row, which goes against what alot of his family members and other people were claiming about him wanting to leave Death Row
-he said in 5 years he wanted to be an executive owning stock in death Row and just release really meaningful albums every 5 years
-he dissed the East Coast and LL saying they weren't doing shit but dancing around with bitches in Silver suits, but then lessened the blow by saying that maybe when he is LL's age and older in the game he might be doing the same thing
-he said QTip dissed him, said he was going to beat the shit out of Chino XL for dissing him about the "raped in jail" thing
-said he loved Wu-tang and that he felt like Wu-tang represented the East Coast the way they represent the West
-he said some Prophetic shit when he said that "THEY" weren't going to let things last the way they were (in Summer 96, Pac/Death Row running things) and that "THEY" were going to shut down the game soon, but that he just wanted to get around the board and do as much shit as he could before that happened
-Gridlocked was originally supposed to be a double album, with one disc being mostly 2pac, and then a second disc having big name Alternative artists like Alanis Morrisette. Pac mentioned Alanis many times in the interview.

100% fuckery. he knew damn well he didn't want to be on death row no more. if so why didn't he do a multiple album contract ? that nigga wanted to leave bad. check out assasination the best pac doc. besides tupac and biggie. the security breaking it down how he was murked. that shit is deep. as far as biggie goes. pac was jealous that biggie blow up and he was in a fucked position. and he went to death row and suge put the gas to the flame. the say way he used dre to go at eazy.

biggie was in pac's rear view mirror

Pac was always on point in almost every interview I have ever seen of his. That's what separates him from the pack, he is an intelligent mofo, and knows and believes in what he is talking about. He always set goals for himself and met them.

biggie was in pac's dreams. come on man. biggie came out, blew up, and got major acclaim and pac hated that. LMFAO at him saying big bit his style. he ain't in the credits on ready to die. he shoulda been discussing his financial issues on death row at the time. he was too shook to do that. he dissed a nigga who didn't feel the need to respond yet( peep life after death).
-
Also, he did mention how the Fugees dissed him.
If only The Last Interview were in quality this clear.

Anybody remember how the Fugee's dissed him? I mean, I know the Fugee's took some minor shots at the West when they came out, just basically boasting about how rap originated in the East and so on

It wasn't no classic interview. It was basically just 2pac being his usual delusional idiot self. He needed to take Suge's dick out of his mouth before doing that interview. Probably would've come out better. How can anyone respect Pac as a man after he became Suge's bitch for the last year of his life. Tupac wasn't a leader, he was a follower. Tried to play a gangbanger and got himself killed.

Pac wasn't a perfect man.. but like he says in the interview, the difference between him and everyone else was that all his good and bad and all his mistakes are all out there for everyone to see and learn from; his whole life was a public display.
...now what if we put YOUR life on public display?

That's the tradeoff anybody who's in the public eye has to make. He traded a lack of privacy for millions of $. That was his choice. And as for me, no, i'm not without flaws, but i'll never be another man's bitch like tupac was. I mean that shit was embarrassing. He was like Suge's slave.

No need to be disrespectful. Tupac said himself that he made a deal with Suge, saying he would ride 100% for Death Row and put them on top of the game. That was at a point in time when Pac was in jail with no friends left, and Suge was there to support him financially. In my opinion, Tupac sold his soul with this decision, and he suffered the consequences.

pac was jealous. suge was jerking him and he knew it. biggie didn't have nothing to do wit him getting shot 5 (it was really 2)times. pac had bad judgement and he blamed others for the consequences he received behind his own actions. but anyway pac sold like 6 mill at the time and didn't have his money. he was getting a $5,000 a week allowance from death row. i love pac's music he was dope(his best music was the death row era). but he wasn't a leader or someone wit some sense. he lived reckless until the day he died. suge sold him a dream and he sold his soul the the man in the red suit. he's a good artist though.
