I was just listening to this aswell. One of his best songs. Love his flow on this track. Jim Gittum has crazy keyboard skills.

I don't see why people keep saying this about Dogg Pound Records era Crooked I tracks. Real Thugs was also recorded when Crooked I was signed to Daz and Death Row still had it and put it out.

They are saying it because it's true. When Daz left deathrow he stole a lot of masters. Hence the soopafly album etc. When crook was going to release his deathrow album Daz was going to release one as well, he even released the tracklist and game for sale was on it

??? He also released I Don't Care What People Say on The Last Of Tha Pound CD and then WIDEawake released it on the box set. My point is that WIDEawake probably has copies of all the tracks that Daz stole. Again, Real Thugs and I Don't Care What People Say are both Dogg Pound Records era tracks and WIDEawake has released them both.

i remember back in tha day when i FIRST heard this, i couldn't take it off of repeat (literally).  this is what made me fiend for a Crooked I album more than any person in tha world.  i was like 13,14 i think, hell yeah, so many memories of this song, it's probably still 2 this day my favorite Crooked track.  I thought he was gonna go in this direction but then all of a sudden dude started rapping about being a lyricist and it kinda killed it for me until those Hip Hop Weekly's (not that i ever grew tired or uninterested of my nigga).

i was never a fan of "uh oh" but "niggaz got game" was and will always be my shit.  "Gangstaology" >>>> "Uh Oh"

I'm the opposite never cared for gangstaology. This era of crook he was just so raw and street, shit was tough. Every track he was on streets iz a mutha he ripped apart too.
