No. Maybe four songs leak, but four songs are not released as singles before an album lol.
Eminem had "Not Afraid" & that lasted him until the leak. I didn't even hear "Love The Way You Lie" until it leaked & then it became his official single.
Kanye had "Power" & then "Runaway" came out right before the album. Then after it was out his third single "All of the Lights" was next in line.
Game has like four songs that he considers "street singles" & now this is "official", but when this fails, because I promise you this will go nowhere on the charts, he'll have to release another single.
Bottom line, July/August won't happen.

His best bet was releasing Detox seconds after the Grammy's.

This is the new lead single for R.E.D. If, and more than likely once, it fails it'll be promoted as that street single then if, and more than likely once, it bombs it'll be ignored as it didn't exist.

The content for "Red Nation" is a little edgy to be used as a commercial single. It's more than likely a street single. However, the buzz is definitely building for him. Just because the majority of this forum doesn't like this single, doesn't mean it will flop. Contrary to many on this board, there is a world outside of this forum that like this song. There was a lot of hate for 1 Blood and Game's Pain when those dropped, I believe, so this time around it should be no different. And before anybody chimes in with their childish remarks, this is MY opinion.

I'm not taking into consideration Krazy, Big money, Aint no Doubt about it and Must be me, Better Days, since that version of the album got shelved and most of the album consists of new material, from what i understood.
Also not taken into consideration are the Koolo leaks.
That being said, Red Nation is the first single to drop since the album has been reworked, and since game has ''confirmed'' that Jimmy gave him the green light for the release.

How do you know there are different versions of the album? And how do you know those songs won't be on it? Either way its high time for a real single. YOu can justify it to yourself as much as you want, but he needed to drop a single months ago

It was said by various people from game's entourage, as well as game himself that the album wasn't up to par so he went back into the studio and reworked the album.

Common sense I guess. If I just base myself on early singles that ''Flopped'' commercially for BISD, (I get it in, Get up) that were released a year before the album, they didn't make the final cut. That being said, i doubt they would include tracks that flopped on the album when game just shitted out 50 tracks for a mixtape. I'm sure it will be all new material.

You can justify it to yourself as much as you want and map out formulas but bottom line is Game needed a real single months ago.

I'm not justifying anything for anybody. I'm just being rational here.
I'm not saying that he didn't need a real single months ago. he did. thats why the album got shelved. If you don't like the single, that's fine, but this single is getting a lot more appreciation than Krazy, Big money, Ain't no doubt about it, and It Must Be Me, so the chances of this track flopping as a street single are lower than the others mentioned above. That being said, with a re worked R.E.D album, Jimmy is supposedly now confident to push this album out so let's see where this goes...

I mean, on a West Coast Hip Hop forum, I expect some people to like the song lol. But in reality where there is an entire World who has to approve this song, you can tell it won't catch on.
"My Life" did pretty well because Wayne's hook (whether you like it or not) was very catchy & even Game on the verses was much better. Plus it had direction. This sounds like a mixtape song with Game attempting to make punchlines, but he comes up short. It's like he listened to "6 Foot 7 Foot" & did his best impression of that & just came up waaaaaaaaay too short lol.
