@ Michael Madsen -(Suck It) either offer some input on the show or STFU

All were trying to do is pay tribute to a legend not start a hatefest, there's already enough of that

if no one's been vibing to the show before i don't think a tribute show is gonna change that. anyway its kinda sick to do a so-called tribute show expecting it to get you more listeners.

The show was ok, you played of course dope songs but when i finished hearing it, i asked myself what did it bring to the table, but nothing much really. You paid hommage to Nate, that was the main goal, you did it right and that's appreciated but I mean you just put some songs together. That would be cool if you could make another one with words from the artists that have collaborated with Nate. I know you can get Kokane on the phone, Butch Cassidy, Bishop Lamont etc artists who are already familiar with dubcnn and who could share annecdotes on songs they recorded with Nate, or just annecdotes about Nate. There's no need to rush it if you plan to do it.

Welcome to dubcc lol. Cool show. And for real people stop with all the psycho analyzing of tributes. Just because someone does not do what you would call a "proper tribute" does not mean that their heart or intentions were not in the right place. And in mourning and paying tribute, that is all that matters, period. We all go about it differently and that is not a bad thing.

@ Mista Rosa....

Thanks for listening and offering your input.
To be honest with you, I was working on a totally different episode of the show, when I got the news of Nate's passing, so I wanted to scrap the show I was working on a put together a show that highlighted what he brought to the table, for example.... tracks like, WC (The Streets) or Shade Sheist (Where I Wanna Be) that highlighted Nate's ability to make a hit record out of anybody's song.

I would've love to get all of the artists on the line, but I felt it was in poor taste to reach out to them in a time of grieving, can you dig it....

P.S.
I appreciate your honesty hit me anytime at radio@dubcnn.com with your input

Of course some artists that recorded with Nate were not just collaborators but friends first, i get what you say 100 percents, it would have been indecent to reach them. That's why i said take your time and in the future do one more Nate Dogg tribute show, maybe several, with artists on the line, everybody would love it. I know you were working on something and Nate's passing changed everything, we appreciate that you were that fast to put a tribute show to honor Nate Dogg.

Pay tribute to Nate. But when you get mad and complain about the lack of listeners it makes you come across as insincere. Like you were doing it just to get ppl to tune in.

I agree I would like to reach out to a lot of these artists and get their stories behind the music so the listeners can hear it for themselves...that would be the shit

@ Spice Two

I never made (1) comment about the lack of listeners... go back and check the name and you'll see that was not J-Double

P.S.
I am in full agreement with you, we did the tribute show because we were fans  and grew up with Nate's music and NO other reason

There was no mention of lack of listeners, this show has had over 3,000 plays overnight - it was an obeservation of the pathetic lack of input from our forum.

A hip hop legend just died. And you're complaining that a thread you made isn't getting any replies. Sincerity at its finest. If I ever made a Nate Dogg thread, it would out of love for the man's music, not wanting to get a bunch of replies. Its not a good look using a man's death to get people to post.
