luv doggumentary, and it is a big step up after MIW! but album sales also sucks this days but what do you think?? how much will it do first week????
-
I KNOW I AM BEING OVER OPTIMISTIC BUT I THINK IT WILL SELL BETWEEN 100K AND 150K CAUSE IT IS VERY GOOD ALBUM!!!! WHAT U THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????
-
around 50k or less... why? wrong marketing once again
-
I know WET and Boom been getting some radio play down here but iam not sure how big the are. I get the impression that in the US they didnt go big?
Hmm you'd hope over 100k but under 50 is probably more realistic.
-
less than 50K, lol at the votes for 100-150K
-
150K-200K

I'm guessing probably around 50k, tops. Not because it's a bad album or anything. Just because hardly any album sells more than that anymore. Especially rap albums.
-
77k! ;D just wait ;D .
and the promo seems to have been. uuh. not there? his puffpufftuesdays didnt do much for him other than leak the album? ::)
singles failed or were semi successful
he will sell 77k just cause he is Snoop Dogg though. the name alone will do those numbers.
-
I went with the lowest because i heard it & I am not impressed at all.
Secondly, you got E-40 selling 2 CDs, so you got some competition.
-
where is the who gives a shit option?
-
No major single = no sales.
-
150K-200K
-
Picked 50k. Max he'll do is probably like 100k

under 50k, he doesn't even have a single on the radio out here in los angeles...
-

People actually think this well sell 200 k lmao. I'm going with 60 k
-
I voted for 50k-100k. "Wet" was a bad choice for a first single, it's one of the worst songs he ever made. "Boom" would've been better IMO, or even "Platinum". Both are "mainstream" bangers. Does anybody know what's the next single from the album?
-
60-70k max. Snoop dont sell to much now adays.
-
I say over 50K, around 60K
-

what the fuck? really? they don't play "wet" or "boom"? not even in the clubs? got damn, west coast stations and djs must really have some kind of hatred for their artists.

they play both those songs on the radio here in NYC but I'll be surprised if he sells more than 50k, I think Malice did around the same
-
Just finished listening to the album in my truck, I stand by my answer, the album is pretty bad.
-
Album aint That bad but his marketing camp sucks
-
who buys cds anymore? 8) nobody sells :-X
-
Probably 75k first week. He'll sell based on name, but not in the 6-figure range
-
who buys cds anymore? 8) nobody sells :-X
Eminem and lil Wayne do

We weren't discussing the quality

People will buy it this time...It won't be no 3 million plus album but a platinum effort over time is realistic....Snoop is actually doin a smart thing by using ESPN SPORTSCENTER to promote his music....I say it does 150k-200k the first month

Unless he gets 150-200k 1st week there is no way he is going plat. Not in this day and age. People buy albums for the most part less week after week.
-
This leaked too early...most of the people who were dying to hear it have heard it...
-
Unfortunately, good albums don't sell anymore. Even though I like what I'm hearing so far, there's no major hit single. Sad shit.

Snoop to do about 45-50k, just what I thought
-
nigga shoulda tried to put out a monster single before tha album. This album ain't got one.
-
Fair amount
-
25k
-
It can hopefully do at least 50... and that's honestly not too bad. There's very, very few albums out there that do over 50K when they come out and shit, it's not even worth looking into sales anymore because it's all relative. Heck, go back to the Last Meal... it did 400K first week and debuted at #9. I would reckon to say Snoop is probably going to be top 10 with this album and that's 11 years later. Sure, he's not doing the #'s that he used to, but platinum and gold rappers is a dying breed and the fact that he could be top 10 nearly 20 years in the game is amazing. Heck, Malice did 55K during the holiday season... but here's why it's all relative. Malice came out in '09 and everybody talked about how it flopped, but with 277K units sold, of all rap albums that came out in '09 it was the SIXTH best selling rap album of the entire year. He's still one of the most popular guys in the game, it's just a trip to see how albums sales fell the hell off like that. By the way, Eminem, Jay and Black Eyed Peas were the only "rap" artists to go platinum in '09 and I put rap in quotes because I don't even consider BEP rap. 3 platinum albums, none reached gold after that.
Albums dope though, def close to Blue Carpet.

That's pretty bad for a rapper on a major label.

yeah lol
based on his recent track record I don't see any reasons why he should be selling more
